How can I get from Austin to Houston & back without driving?

I need to go root for my Orlando Magic who are basically all rookies this year.
But I want to drink.
But, I'm poor.

So, what are the best cheapest options for me to get from Orlando Austin to Houston and back without driving drunk?
Or more factually, from Houston back to Austin area without driving dronk.?

Why wouldn't you go to a Spurs game? Either way, good luck. Greyhound bus or an expensive Lyft from SA are the only options but I've never tried a bus so no clue how realistic that is

Megabus has an express bus between Austin and Houston. I've used it many times. It's cheap, fast, and you can have a nap. Great alternative, especially if you're planning on being drunk and/or hungover.
