Y’all saw that, right? Just making sure. Ball MIGHT have the potential to be an actual STAR.

Ball Don't Lie: The LaMelo Ball Thread

Post#1723 » by BigSlam » Fri Oct 22, 2021 1:13 am

Just as well this kids game backs up his outlandish lifestyle choices.

From the flashy jewelry to the bottom teeth grills and the words/sentence structures that come out of his mouth that I just don’t understand to this ensemble from last nights game.

I don’t know if he’s got style, swag or just completely out to lunch.

I just know we’re thrilled that he’s ours.

I heard LaMelos interview after the game and he was asked how he deals with the pressure of carrying this team. His answer impressed me. He said his dad taught him pressure is not knowing where you might sleep or if you’ll have something to eat that night. Basketball is just basketball. I actually think that’s awesome and shows this guy isn’t going to be affected by the moment. Just thought I’d share / highlight.

We need a team mentality to attack on defense to get the most out of Melo. He is good when the game becomes chaos.

My favorite style was the nolan richardson 40 min of hell. Pro ball has to many games to do it full time, but in spurts would be good.

I confess to turning the Ind game off at halftime but with Lamelo on board I guess I can’t do that anymore Melo able to paper over some of this roster’s shortcomings and looks like the best addition to the NBA since Luka Doncic

The Jarrett Allen highlight dunk over Plumlee immediately followed up by LaMelo throwing a full court pass to Miles to get those points back was so damn savvy. I will never get tired of stuff like that.

The basketball maturity of this young kid in only the 3rd game of his sophomore NBA season is unbelievable.

He’s 100% team first and just continues to prove how wrong I was about him pre-draft….as a basketball player and as a professional.

It is mind blowing, how does he have such an old head for for the game? He plays by feel and it’s just incredible

Just absolutely awesome to see bros. Me and my buddies were at the game and kept wondering when he’d get checked back in…and yes while I was loving life throughout that Melo-less 4th Q, I was slightly concerned that Melo wouldn’t take it too well. And now hearing that HE told JB to keep riding Ish…man that’s special.

It speaks volumes about Smith as well…the fact that Ball actually trusted him to hold it down. And it proves what I’ve been saying. Smith is the perfect backup for our style with Ball.

Fools on reddit saying he got played off the court smh

Ball accounted for 70.6% of Charlotte’s offense during the first seven minutes of the third quarter — five points, three assists and seven points created off assists.

Hadn't seen one player turn a Charlotte home game into a raucous party with a few moves since Cam Newton.
