Best thing for the future handling of viral outbreaks and possible pandemics is consolidating the control of the government by the Democratic Party. It appears Trump is helping this happen now by telling all of his followers not to vote in upcoming elections unless action is taken to restore him to power because the election was stolen from him. This orange puss bomb is the gift that keeps on giving.

I couldn’t understand that one.

It is the narcissistic impulse, that's all it really is. If he can't have the spoils then nobody should. He is the GOP's ball and chain. They are afraid to lose whatever is still called his "base" so he holds the Republicans' feet over the fire. He resents anyone else getting the spotlight. He lividly hates Ron DeSantis because some of the media was pushing him as a front runner for 2024. That won't happen because DeSantis is as stupid as Trump, but minus the MAGA appeal and he set himself on fire in Florida and will lose the governor's house soon.

I once broke up with a girl who said if she knew she was dying she'd want to destroy the world on her way out. Same disorder. She thought she was all that, but really she was just a jerk.

It was a few weeks only, never got serious. I met her going to an Allen Ginserg reading at the 92nd Y when I was talking to my friend in the street like Donald Duck and she thought it was funny. She was a student of Ginsberg at Brooklyn College though I never did see any evidence of her poetry. She was a Greek girl with giant eyes, a black girl butt and a chest like a carpenter's dream. She spouted all kind's of Marxist revolutionary rhetoric while driving into the city in her Daddy's Caddy wearing fox furs. So I called her the Marxist in Furs.

We went to Lincoln Center to see a Tarkovsky movie together called the Sacrifice. Tarkovsky had a terminal illness so he knew it was his last movie and the plot was about a dying man having apocalyptic visions. I think that was Max Von Sydow. It was set in Sweden.

We ran into a Hasidic Jew named Jonathan at the same movie which was odd. I knew him from Brooklyn and my roommate and I were the people who got him high for the first time two weeks after he defected from the Yeshiva to Brooklyn College. The first time he saw a movie was the year before, he had been that sheltered.

So after the movie the three of us Caddy'd down to Yaffa's on St. Mark Place and while we were eating she starting saying she liked the movie particularly because if she had a terminal illness she wouldn't want anyone to exist if she had to die. I looked at her like she was messing around and said come on. No, I'm dead serious she said. I don't want anyone to enjoy living if I can't live. It just affected me in all the wrong ways, so I got up and left and that was the end of us.

I saw her one more time when she drove by my place in Brooklyn in daddy's caddy. She said she should probably keep dating me to see what it was like to be with a decent guy instead of the pricks she usually shacked up with. I said yeah well just do what comes natural to you babe and that was that.

What I can tell you is the noose is tightening around Trump and all of his high level facilitators. It is going as I expected and lots of indictments and arrests this year and next. There will never again be the level of imprisonment of so many people high in the government as we are going to see. Biden and Garland are clearly going for the throat even if the MSM doesn't convey that. This is going to be an epic takedown of the whole MAGA leadership. And with multiple local DA's active between Manhattan and Atlanta and now Westchester it is only a matter time before Trump himself gets indicted. But first they are feeding up the ladder and seeing which nutz will crack and flip on Trump. Rudy is sweating bullets, Gaetz's accomplice is spilling his guts (attorney in court just said Greenberg was a prolific criminal), Bannon is on deck, Barrack just switched lawyers to plead out. It's a giant clusterfuk of pain heading Trump's way. Plus E. Jean Carroll has her day in court this year. And the clock is running out on Ghislaine Maxwell to cooperate as well as Trump's CFO. And the January 6th committee is taking no prisoners. You may not know about 700 insurrectionists were arrested. They have Gym Jordan's phone records and he's melting down. Seriously, they are heading towards proving treason at the top. My only concern now is Trump croaking before justice is served.

And from what I've heard from multiple nurses, the numbers are very under-reported, at least in some areas.
