I feel people give him too much credit for his 18 ppg in the G League last year. Sure that's impressive for a teen, but Ant would have scored 30+. Even when Ant was struggling at the beginning of the year when he got a chance to go up against end-of-the-bench guys in blowouts, he scored with ease. Green may get there, but I think it's going to take him awhile.

Right now, I like Barnes or Mobley as ROTY over Green

If only the Wolves were able to keep their pick and add Mobley...

KAT & Ant looked like 2 stars on a mission

That Beasley block was insane. The mindset of these guys looks locked in. And PBev is only going to add to that. Could this be the first season in like 15 years, where after the first 8 weeks, I'm not recklessly ripping the the team for every move they've made and want to blow it up? I'm cautiously optimistic!

It's only one game and we played very well for the most part.

But.... your offense the start of the game and the start of the 3rd quarter out of the locker room didn't look great. I think Dlo and Ant still need to learn to play with each other on the court. We didn't get going until we started playing through Towns which should still be our number 1 option. The Rocket being even smaller then us doesn't really give us a metric for our rebounding yet.

Every team sucks on game 1, quarter one so I’ll give it a pass…but the third quarter did start like a dud until dlo went off..gotta clean that up Versus talented teams Or they’ll erase that double digit lead and then we’ll find ourselves behind and losing

I’m not a gambler, but I was in Vegas a couple weeks ago and seriously considered putting some money down on Jalen Suggs to be ROY, and take the over on the Wolves.

I saw HL of the match...at one point Edwards turned towards the houston bench suggesting a time out ... what a stir! the boy is sure of himself and of the team ... I like this spirit!

If we are a good team this season I think the vibe from fans will be very different than it was when we had the Thiberwolves. I still remember how weird it was that we were winning and fans didn't seem that into it. First time we had a good team in over a decade and it was just kind of meh. The energy last night was totally different.

I think this had to do more with the fact it was a blowout. Sure we looked great and made some big shots and block. However we were up by 35 which takes a lot of the energy out of the build/game. Deep 3 and run down blocks don't care the same wait when the other team sucks and is down by 30+. The crowd was fired up after Ant's big 2nd quarter right before half.

I like this article. It is opinion but has a good quote from KAT about trusting Finch and the coaching staff. I would give it a read if you have a free moment. https://www.canishoopus.com/2021/10/21/22738742/wolves-energy-focus-carryover-preseason

There were many groupies hurt with Rubio's trade and other didn't like the Butler dog mentality (curious when KG is God here).

Because KG wasn't looking out for himself all the time, he put the team first on the court and in the locker room.
