Of course not. They publicly threw him under the bus. Talking smack in private is one thing, but airing it out to the media always causes a mess. He asked for a trade as soon as the season wrapped. Most other players would have been moved during the offseason. They aren't going to get the type of talent they want in return for him. He's even lowering his value further with all this.

Look we are brutal, you can tell from the wraith that Ben is getting now, but that in no shape way or form screwed up Ben or Fultz. We coddled both of them. The fans go absolutely ape **** whenever Ben attempts a 3 let alone makes one. I still remember the fans doing the Fultz chant after the Eagles dumpster'd the Vikings and took their little chant. We've treated those two unlike any other player that has ever mildly dissapointed in Philly. Hell I don't think Fultz EVER got booed by the crowd.

Exactly. Morey should have traded him before the draft and accumulated prospects and draft picks. Now he'll be lucky if he can attach a 1st rd pick to get rid of him for expirings. Simmons is damaged goods on a max contract.

His family has a history of mental illness. I've said on this forum multiple times that he seemed somewhere on the spectrum. I wouldn't be surprised if all of this triggered a bout of mental illness. We have people trashing this guy all over the country and he prob can't even leave his home without hearing it.

Just saying there is a pattern. Is like a player that keeps getting injured. Maybe he landed on a shoe or someone landed on his leg or whatever. After so many injuries it is what it is and hes injury prone.

After so many guys fall apart mentally in philly then i'm incline to believe that it's rough as hell there and you combine that with players that don't have the mental fortitude and it's a disaster.
