Really HATE these days without Knicks games! But man, so grateful we won that epic last night. I would not have enjoyed sitting in the morass of a loss. Only 26.5 hours to tip-off, tho!

Two years ago it was readily apparent that Simmons & Embiid could not coexist on the floor.

At that point you could/should have traded Simmons for a princely sum and positioned the franchise for a decade run.

Instead Philly kidded themselves into thinking that somehow 'square peg & round hole' would eventually work out.

Two years later Philly will be lucky to get 20c on the dollar in a Simmons trade.

That which must be done eventually.......

Morey in the mud - totally misplayed this and is going to look like someone who blew a season of Embiid’s decreasing opportunities to carry a team all the way on his knees out of spite. Bad work. Good for us tho. Two of the Top 4 consensus EAstern teams hamstrung by crazy players.

Morey is making a tactical mistake.

If Simmons comes back and doesnt show improvement shooting the ball or more competitiveness, he tanks his own value. If Simmons does come back, you're also banking on the fact that he will mesh and put up good numbers and show improvement playing with guys who hate him. Is that likely?

if Simmons simply refuses to play and sits at home, he tanks his own value

Morey and the rest of the league tbh is just massively overrated Simmons whose nothing more than an upgraded Draymond Green who isn't used to being a forward. Hard pass on a guy whose career was already trending towards triple singles before last year.

Kyrie has no value in trades man. Kyrie already said he'll retire if traded. He's only useful for teams looking to dump bad contracts.

Simmons for CJ straight up give or take some small pieces is the only way. For both teams really.

Wouldn't it just make sense to swap Ben and Kyrie? Kyrie is mad they got Harden, he'll play in Philly if he can stick it to BK. Simmons will be happy. A sad win-win.
