That said I'm curious what Bobby thinks considering the sacrifice he made to come back.

The leaked reports seemed to indicate that PJ wanted a 2-year/$20mm deal from the Bucks. I'm assuming the Bucks offered him either a one year deal (or two year) at a much lower number.

I'm just curious what Bobby's handshake deal was. Thinking 4/$40 on July 1st next year.

The Bobby eye-roll tweet could mean it's not as completely a cut and dry situation of the Bucks failing to make a key contributor in our championship run a fair offer, even it was not ultimately a competitive one.

We definitely offered Tucker less in years and / or money per year than what he got from the Heat at a baseline.

The max Portis' handshake deal could be is the full MLE this upcoming offseason I believe. Either way he's seriously underpaid this year and probably could get / could have gotten more than the MLE longer term from someone.

In that context, and based only on the extremely surface level analysis of Twitter emojis, Portis isn't overly impressed with PJ's plight.

Bobby and PJ are really close according to Bobby and at media day he said they talk at least once a week even after he left for Miami. His face lit up when they brought up PJ. I doubt it was anything more than Bobby being funny and probably sent it in a text to pj before he even posted it.

He's another guy that goes on my "Bobby Flay Cooked" team along with LMA, Milsap, and George Hill. More members will be joining shortly as I watch more games this week.

Most of the above were better and younger players than PJ. Next year PJ will be the second oldest player under contract (Supposedly some guy named lebron is older than him). I will die on the hill that it was a horrible idea giving a guy his age and size a multi year contract.

Pretty sure Bobby's eyeroll was "**** you're getting 15 million to end your career in Miami." more than anything.

Morey putting on a master class in how to sabotage a franchise entirely through awful PR and interpersonal skills. Why on earth would you air that out in public?

I personally would love for the Sixers to have this distraction for four years.

Umm, wouldn't your odds be better with whatever solid players they can get now rather than having nobody? Which is what they have now. The chances of him increasing his trade value while pouting and not playing seems unlikely. He made a huge mistake not doing this last offseason and getting ahead of it. Then again by not moving quickly this offseason and being greedy.

I'd be curious what he defines as role players vs difference makers. Like, to him is Brogdon (I know can't be traded now but before) or CJ McCollum not difference maker enough? Yea, they're not true stars at Ben's level if he's engaged but they fit their needs exactly.

I think as Bucks fans we're pretty lucky they didn't figure out a Harden/Simmons trade last year. Harden/Embiid seem a great pair. Though I suppose then the BKN monster wouldn't exist (if all 3 ever play)

Hmmm, maybe i'm grasping at straws, trying to be less upset at letting Tucker walk.

If the issue was multi-year deals we could have just offered him a bigger 1 year deal.

Yes he's old as hell. But unless Thanasis or Semi or someone else steps up quick to become a savvy defensive stopper we are going to miss having someone in that role come playoff time.

Nothing wakes me up like someone confidently saying the opposite of the thing they meant to say.

Fully support Morey, players are out of control and its time to grind Simmons down into submission or have him sit out what should be the prime years of his career. The league needs to intervene so players with 4 years on their contracts aren't demanding trades, the pendulum has to swing back.

Them making it 76 greatest players instead of 75 because of a tie is kinda weak. Defeats the whole purpose of the thing, I’m sure it’s a way to break that tie.

Morey is just posturing for PR purposes. He's itching to get rid of Simmons but it seems pretty clear everybody is still lowballing him (at least from his perspective).

IMO, he's simply putting the message out there he'd rather let Simmon rot than take a **** deal. This will be finished this season one way or another. Morey is banking on a team getting desperate and upping the ante in a Simmons deal.

It makes zero sense for Morey to play this saga out for four years. A mediocre trade now is worth a lot more than nothing in four years (and a wasted prime of Embiid). I admire Morey sticking to his guns here but this can't play out too much longer if Philly is serious about contending for titles.

Plus the longer this drags, the lower Simmons' value gets. People will simply forget about him and Philly will lose out.

Dislike everything off-court about him, but I really, really like Simmons the player.

How the **** did AD and Dame make it over Jokic?

Edit: How the **** did AD and Dame make it over Dwight?

Honestly those selections make the list trash. Dwight and Jokic should’ve been over them both.
