I don’t think Herro would average 40 points against the Celtics specially, considering the defenders the Celtics have. Heck I think Herro could average somewhere around 20 points for the season, but to say he is Jamal Crawford, although not a bad thing, his skill sets are different.

I think he can be a 3rd option championship team ala klay.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

I don’t like the Klay comp because Klay is classic 3&D while Herro creates his offense.

I think Herro’s game is more similar to Devin Booker.

He should do better than he is, given the support from Bulter and Lowry. He is basicaly a 4th or 5th option on that team.

There is far more clarity on his role on the team than ever, and he finally had a full offseason to work on himself. He’s only 21 in his 3rd season, so he’s definitely taking another leap. Sure having Lowry/Butler helps, but he is clearly going through an evolution.

Im really rooting for this kid to break out as a star this season. His bubble performance was electric. If he can replicate that over the whole season then Miami could become the favourite in the East

People want/wanted this dude to be a flash in the pan so bad but when you have that combination of skill at scoring plus confidence you just know he's gonna be top 10 scorer in this league one day.

I watched him tonight. Great scorer, but bad at basketball(this game).
Puts his head down and decides he's going to shoot, regardless of the defender's position.
Hunted on defense - easy to get him out of position or take him to the hoop.
Still a good fit next to a complete player like Jimmy, but needs court awareness.

28 FGA off the bench... That's where too much confidence can actually hurt a team.

It's just one game, but he did have the worst +/- on the team.

The only reason Miami was in the game was because of Herro.

This right here makes no sense. If he was a bad basketball player, his team would not put him in position to play PG, which its not his natural position. Heck, tonight he was the absolute brightest star in a horrendous Miami showing.

Yes Let's ignore 50% of the skill of the game

   Poor basketball player.

Herro was seeing double teams the entire night and the only reason Miami was even in the game by the end of regulation. This would’ve been a blowout without him with Jimmy playing underwhelming.

Point guard? Ha-ha. He had (this game) zero court sense.
Did you see the pass into the 3rd row?

I dont think Herro was as good as his 30-10 suggests, but Miami flat out just missed shots and the bench of Indiana crushed it. At least he was aggressive

Heroro isn't the most talented player in the league but he's skilled and a good example of how far being incredibly confident in yourself can take you. He's not going away anytime soon.
Rest in peace Kobe & Gianna
