How many homeruns do you think he will hit this season?
So far he has 4 in 5 games, do you think he can reach 70 this season?
What do you guys think, cause the man is red hot in the start of this season

I said 26-35. I don't think he'll stay this hot or win the MVP honestly. That's just my gut feeling.

I think he will have an MVP type season. I'm feeling 53-56 home runs. -Jitpal

All it takes is these 5 games to see he is back in his 2005 MVP form. In 2005, he hit over 20 homers to center, right center, or right. Last year, he had about 5 in those directions. This year he already has 2 and you can just see the difference in him. This is his year.

Arod will hit 40 for sure. 50 very possible too. Arod is going to hit like his Texas days.

I HATE fans like you, the guy is the best all-around player in the game for the last 10 years and people like you bash him. When its all said and done he may be the greatest to ever play the game, and we have the oppurtunity to see him play in his prime. Enjoy it, cheer him, and support him...

Don't say you *HATE* me when I didn't even bash the guy. Where in my post did I bash him. I LOVE Arod but just because I don't think he'll win the MVP and hit 70 HR's doesn't mean I'm bashing him.

Sorry but I'm just sick of people knocking the guy. Seriously you thought he would hit 26-35 home runs? The guy is a phenomenal talent and all anyone does is knock him when he has a bad day.

Sorry I shouldnt have said it to you, but seriously to all you ARod bashers out there, the guy is going to be one of the best players ever to play when it is all said and done....lets enjoy it and cheer him on.

Sorry, I shouldnt've been so harsh to you either, I hate the fans that boo also. But you have to be realistic.. He is a phenomenal talent but not just because he can hit home-runs. He is the best all around player in the world. He can steal bases, hit for average, a gold glove SS, and will definitely win a gold glove at 3rd base before his career is done.

When I said 26-35, I was thinking 35 as the highest, but I prob should've gone 36-44 or whatever the next category is. I think he can hit in the low 40s if things go well for him.

In seasons where he's played at least 140 games (11 seasons) he averages 40 HR's a season. He's only hit more than 50 twice. Take out those 50 HR seasons he had on a bad texas team and he averages about 39. So maybe my 35 was a little low, but people saying 50+ might be dreaming alittle.

Obviously I hope he hits that many, I love A-ROD and the yanks.

He seems to be confident and relaxed...and he's kinda playing for a new contract so I'm expecting at least 50.

That's a pretty even balance.
