The player comparison board put together a top 100 list going slot by slot. Interesting arguments that make for each player.
They had him 47. I thought Giannis was too low last year since they seemed to over value rings but should shoot up next time they do it.

The main problem here is probably that they can't take off any of the older players who've clearly been surpassed. So essentially, this became 25 best players of the last 25 years since the original list came out.

That basically covers the kind of post Jordan boom (not arguing which era is better, just that MJ blew up the sport so much and so many kids got into because of him, along with explosion of salaries) and most loaded era of talent the NBA has ever seen. Keeping in mind some players who started in the late 80s early 90s weren't quite deep enough in career to be included.

Add in international players. Giannis would still be greece if he was born 15 years earlier

I wouldn't take off, but one I haven't seen mentioned yet if we're nitpicking is Reggie. Did get to 25K points so that's probably just an automatic, which I'm fine with. But never above 3rd team all nba and only got that 3 times, usually averaged 20-21sh ppg rather than 25+ like many shooters/scorers (slowed down era though for a bunch of his career), no ringz.

Love Klays 'im so disrespected based on a marketing list but I only care about winning rant" great player but he's like Reggie or below level to me and got a boost from playing on all time great teams. Doubt he has any rings as 1a. Imho

It's weird how often Harden settles when he's got the big man switched onto him on the perimeter. And if he does attack the basket he wants to throw the lob too much.

I'm far from a prude, but I don't understand why scantily clad dancers at games is still a thing.

That’s just longevity. Vince Carter is 19th on that list, Alex English is 20th and was the decades’ leading scorer in the 80’s and he’s not on the list.

Pierce never started an all star game and at his peak he made one second team nba and scraped by on the third team three times lol. He was never even in contention for an MVP. The list basically came down to the 25 best players of the last 25 years and they somehow picked Pierce.

Sixers haven't scored for awhile and the Nets can't quite get over the hump
