Put Scottie at PG and Fred at SG (you can put him at SG for "show" but he should play the PG over Fred)

we have been saying this since preseason but moron nurse is gonna drag tragic out there when pascal comes back

I’ve seen enough. Barnes is averaging 20 ppg this year just like Lebron in his rookie year.

The only people that look stupid are the people that keep hyping him up as the next kawho type... accept him for who he is as an elite 3cand d guy and leave it at that.... most of the hate on this board comes when guys start overhyping ertain players and failing to recognize the strengths of others...
Get out of here with that BS. OG was the 4th option last season and people were calling for his head after a few weeks when he started off the season 9/36 on 3FGA then he quickly turned it around and shot 42% behind the arc for the rest of the year.

No one is seriously calling him the next Kawhi, but he's going to be more than a 3+D player. He already WAS more than a 3+D player last season when he scored 16 PPG on 60 TS% while being a top 5 wing defender in the league.

Barnes is the franchise. I've seen enough. His court presence is simply incredible.

mdenny wrote:Random observations:

-boucher's handle is better. 4 or 5 times he carried the ball up court and it looked way more safe than it did in the past. Someone told him to tighten it up and he has. He had a great game

-precious had great stats and lots of potential...but most of the incohesion in the first 5 minutes was due to his mistakes. Fred was talking to him in between plays. Trent was too. Even scottie did once. Not the kind of mistakes that will be fixed fast. He's alot more raw than Barnes in just knowing where to be on floor.

-doesnt need to be said, barnes incredible.

-alvin settling in. It occured to me that his observations during game had mroe substance than we're used to. Pointing out nuanced stuff. He's gonna work out great.

-huge win. Fred is our leader. This board has an anti-fred problem.

People are literally on fvvs sack like he's Lowry... he's a great defensive combo guard... that's his strength.... if nurse stops running the offense through him then he wouldn't be a problem... same with og....

We were better tonight in transition and because fvv wasn't pounding the rock so much... every time he poundedcrhe rock we looked like doodoo...

Give the keys to Barnes to be our primary facilitator use fvv off the ball and were good... most of the Fred hate on my end stems from delusional fans that think he's the face and leader of this team and is untradeable and won't stop defending him. Accept him for his shortcomings and allow the criticism to happen its all fair.hes not as good as you make him our to be.
mdenny wrote:In anycase....Masai is probably gonna make Fred the first active player/head coach in franchise history now that Nurse is out of the way. That's been the plan all along.

Needs to clean up his shot selection and switches defensively but big potential with him.

Holy sht scottie distracted me i didnt even notice precious had a 15/15 game lmao. People were arguing in the other GT about signing richuan holmes but this is the exact reason i wanted precious to eat those minutes instead. We need these young guys to develop

I'd legit trade for assets/picks and build around Scottie, he's different.

Wrong,

When he danced at his table at the draft after the Raptors selected him.

OG is a slow starter. He's probably their best shooter. They'll eventually start going in.

OG always shot as a catch & shoot player, now he's trying to create off the dribble and it's been an ugly disaster

He will go back to being a shooter once Siakam comes back.

He’s going to be the teams starting SG when Siakam comes back anyways.

Nurse is gonna overcomplicate it guaranteed. That would be best scenario but it took him 6 Gamez to finally bench dragic

Hypebeast Aminu

ya right, put some respek

OG was an absolute monster on defense - he got to the line - earning fouls for the team, and had a demoralizing dunk against brown

Yeah, OG played more within himself tonight. It's good that's he's not pressing and hijacking the offense.

I don't know what you watched tonight. OG was forcing way too much. 4/18 with wide array of terrible shots that he can't make.
