I hate people like this. When we get blown out everyone is up in arms and wants to trade every player and tank. But when we blow out a team on the road that was 100% healthy without our best player it's all this temper expectations bull. Why can't y'all let people be happy and excited. Y'all always trying to temper expectations when no one here has any unrealistic expectations lol. We know we aren't a championship calibre team. We know Barnes and this team will have their ups and downs. Let us enjoy the ups. Like gawdamn. What's the point of being a fan if you can't even enjoy when your team plays well and for most exceeded anything that we expected. I will never understand this way of thinking

You saw it tonight, but Barnes has a much better handle than OG, it's easier to run the offense through him. He has an easier time getting to his spots than OG does, and if he can't get to his spot, he's a better passer. He's also amazing when he can grab a rebound and leads the charge pushing the ball up the floor.

I think over time the players are going to realize how good Barnes is, he'll gain their trust, and they'll start to defer to him.

I'm really interested to see what things look like when Siakam returns, Pascal looked hyped to see Barnes dominating tonight. With Barnes / Siakam being able to create for themselves, it's going to take the pressure off of Fred / Anunoby and allow them to play a more similar role to what they're accustomed to -- I prefer both of those guys playing primarily off the ball.

Yeah Barnes is lookin pretty crazy right now. Aside from his signs of elite passing, his scoring improved way quicker than I thought. If he develops that consistent jumper than we might have our franchise cornerstone. Still too early to tell though

One thing about Scottie is you just know once team's game plan for him and start ball pressuring him all of a sudden his passing ability will get even more highlighted.

Wow! Missed the game, but that statline!

I think we had more offensive rebounds today than we did in the past five years combined, nearly. I like this look.

On the replay of his no look pass to Boucher (I think it was), I thought that's a Magic Johnson pass, and a split second later Alvin said the exact same thing
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Scottie deserves some love by the media after that game.

If you will remember just a short time ago, everyone in the media was calling him a mistake at #4.

Were they?

Pretty much every draft analyst that I saw thought it was a good pick. Or maybe they just said that because they know they can't question Masai given his track record. lol.

Scottie for the most part was an absolute lock to be drafted in the top 5. Orlando and OKC had Scottie at #4 on their draft board. Some teams had Scottie even higher.

Scottie Barnes is a generational talent. He'll be up there with the Lukas and Traes of the world.

Have to love the confidence on that play where there was a bit of a mix-up between Boucher and the guy he was trying to outlet the ball to, and there was a moment of indecision, so Scottie just took charge and grabbed the ball to keep the play moving.

Not a fan of how the media likes to give credit to one guy. The team played great defence and out hustled the Celtics all night if there ever was a team win that was it.

I have never crapped on a player on this team when they struggle. In fact it has made me not want to continue on this board the way some get on guys for every bad play. Or harp on some narrative they have bought into. I guess I cautioned against people overreacting because I feel it is those people most likely to call him trash if he struggles later.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….
