You know what, I think the Bulls are on to something. Maybe the secret to having a good team might be having a competent FO, a coach that know what they're doing and playing good players instead of a **** FO, a dumbass coach and crappy players.

Who knew, huh?!

No wonder we suck so much as a team. 70% of last year roster doesn’t belong in the NBA

I still hope we can bring T-Young back. I think he would be the missing 4 we need if he’s ok with a reduced role. He’s barely playing in SAS

I think the defensive gameplan was fine last time, I wouldn't overcommit on Grant. Sure Grant got 24 but we held the rest of the team to something below 20% on 3s. I wouldn't trade that. Grant's not KD, he's not going to singlehandedly win the game on 50 if you don't double him. Shut everyone else down which they except for Stew. And again, I wouldn't start double teaming Stew. Give him his 12.

If we can't beat them with 2 guys scoring 20 & 12, we don't deserve the win.

Most of the problems last game were with the Bulls themselves on offense. 17 TOs, completely broke from 3P range other than Derozan, getting off to that slow 14 point 1st quarter start. I think Billy saw that slow start happening again and took a timeout vs the Pels almost immediately after tip-off.

If the Bulls win tonight, they will be alone atop the Eastern Conference standings.

Expect sort of the same kind of game that took place in Detroit. Pistons are better coached and play hard and they have good pieces. They just don't have enough for us and our talent will be too much for them as we will have weapons scoring in waves. I expect a close game for 3 quarters then us going up double digits and not looking back in the 4th. I also expect a big game from Vucevic he is due.

I'm optimistic that we'll overcome the B2B because it's early in the season, but that will be a challenge.

I expect this team to win Detroit at UC and they will if they reproduce what they’ve done so far. C’mon Bulls!

The Bulls' issue in game 1 against Detroit was actually the Bulls. Specifically, the offense was a complete mess particularly early on. Chicago's defense against Detroit was great.

If I'm looking for anything, its better spacing, better ball movement and improved off ball player movement.

Hopefully Vuc goes off.

I'm looking for Vuc to finally have his day. I think the game plan will be to establish him early and get him going. Hoping Lonzo stays aggressive as well. Sometimes when you get that taste of success early, it gives you the confidence that you can do it routinely. He can and he should.

AK: So, Billy, now that you are the coach, what do you think of the roster after a month?
BD: Well, as we discussed I basically used the beginning of the season as an open tryout.
AK: Yup, that's what we wanted. What are your thoughts?
BD: I tried to just run standard NBA offenses and defenses.
AK: OK, yeah, I see that. Again, what do you think?
BD: Uh, well. . .
AK: Go on. You can say it.
BD: OMFG THESE GUYS SUCK!!!
AK: That's kind of what I thought.
BD: So you will trade them? Please tell me you will trade them. Trade them all. Well, except Zach. He kind of rocks.
AK: Working on it.

This should be a win. Detroit is still without Cade and doesn't have the firepower to compete on a nightly basis despite playing hard and scrappy. At home, a back to back sure, but nobody really played big minutes last night and the season is young with a team looking to prove itself -- they should come out motivated and win this game by 12-18 imo. Let the fans get into again and Detroit won't be able to keep up in the 2nd half.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

The thing I really couldn’t understand was that it took me about 10 games to evaluate GarPax players, yet it took them anywhere from 2-5 years to figure their own guys out. I admit Lauri was a little more puzzling, but man, by season 3 I was like “OK - this guy will never be Dirk.”

And then once you know a young guy is not all-star caliber… there are ZERO and I mean ZERO reasons to hold onto that guy, especially if he’s worse than most vet min players (i.e. Valentine). At that point, he’s not just a sunken draft asset and bad salary, he’s killing a valuable roster spot. You’re better off signing or trading low for someone else’s bust after they play 3-4 mediocre developmental years (i.e. Lonzo, D’Angelo, J. Randle and so on).

The fact that GarPax sat on about 12 goobs each season and twiddled their thumbs is just absurd to me. Worst GMs ever. 04/05 and 10/11 were flukes (Rose was the ultimate fluke).

I don’t even think this AKME team is a great build. I like it, I’m excited, but it’s got its flaws. I’m more impressed how quickly they aligned the ship from a 6y ****. Supreme competence.

Hopefully we keep things rolling and win this one easily.

Semi OT: I wonder how long it'll take the wider NBA fanbase/general NBA media to move past the "they'll be good on offense but can they guard anyone???" script (assuming we keep playing like we are). Twenty games? Half the season? Never?

Bunch of scumbags on the media forget them they will just switch it up on us with some dumbass narrative....this is just like my 49ers were doubted when we drafted bosa and I kept telling people 49ers gonna be in the sb that year and win it we went to the sb but didn’t win it sadly but that dline I warned people about terrorized the nfl that entire season that’s the bulls this season we are the underdogs but we will win the chip this year mark me down for that

It’s a back to back game. But Bulls are home and this team is deep. Expecting a double digit win. Let’s go!
AKME got to go
