Simple-minded indeed. No you said simplistic which sounds better.dobrojim wrote:tontoz wrote:We got 53 points from the bench, pretty scary since Beal and Rui were out so two bench players were starting.
During the coverage, I think it was the playxplay guy (CRS, Kutcher) said something about missing
Beal and how that's 30 ppg not available. Simplistic view. How efficiently relative to the rest
of the team, or the team when he's not in the game, score? It's possible that the team would
score less when he plays. More shots for guys who shoot at a higher %age.
The Wizards only scored 98 against Toronto with Bradley Beal.
That announcer sounds to me like he thinks like our past coach Scotty Brooks. Volume of shots by One Shot Jacker (and I'm not really calling Beal a shot Jacker) does not indicate how much a team should score
All of a sudden we have a lead point guard who can hunt his own shot in Spencer Dinwiddie. We also have a legit 6ft 9in Wing player in Kyle kuzma who can pretty much score off the bounce or in a catch-and-shoot. Add to that we've got a beast score inside at Montrezl Harrell that we did not have before
A not so bright announcer might not have noticed that the Wizards do not have to rely on Bradley Beal like they once did or like the previous coach insisted that they do
