it'd be cool to win a game. But beware De'Sean Tate, Kevin Porter Jr., and Kevin Martin Jr. and the twin towers of Segun and Garuba, and anyone who plays with effort and intensity, which is part of the job of being a professional basketball player, along with having a sweet turn-around fadeaway jumpshot and working on your brand.

This game might be a lose lose, UNLESS we win easily. If we only squeak by, that would be a bad sign, if we outright lose, I will be either speechless again or blow up..

There are 3 things I wanted to see from IME before the first game was even played. In all 3 cases he has not done what I had hoped.

Won't say them yet. Want to see if IME can come to the same conclusion I hope/have.

I am certainly someone who won't hold my opinion back even if it goes against the norm.

Watching the heat/pacers game right now, i don’t think we can beat any of those teams either. Both teams have a good combination of big man that can score on their own and defend. We only have horford. Rob can’t really score on his own. They a good bunch of shooters as well, which we don’t have. Just look at Mcconnel. That guy doesn’t really have an outside shot, but can really distribute the ball, no fancy passes, and set his teammates up for easy baskets. That’s the thing i want smart to do. We should easily beat this young houston team, if Ime could utilize his roster properly.

All I can say is this current Celtics team is a rudderless ship.

The Celts need a true PG who can really run an offense.

Last season Celtic fans wanted Brad fired.

This season there's a new coach, but we're still seeing what we saw from last season.

It's not the coach, it's the personnel!

Unfortunately this is already a "must win" game for the Celts.

If the Celts don't convincingly beat this Rockets team, it's going to be "Houston, we have a problem!"

Rockets are a bottom 3 team. If we do not beat such an inexperienced roster then we are really in trouble...

Houston is a borderline G leaugue roster literally building for the future..if they lose the only perspective will be underachieving and bad coaching

Houston has alot of young talent and a few vets too (Wall, Gordon, Theis). The way the Celtics are playing-- careless with the ball, standing around on the glass, no energy on defense-- I don't see how they can beat any NBA team.

They certainly have a lot to address. Besides the points you make, I can't say I have been impressed with Ime's rotations. Let's hope that getting punked (as Ime put it) will provide the motivation for improved play.

Anyone's game probably. We know the Rockets are not great but we still don't know what this Celtics team is either. We do know the Celtics have issues when it comes to effort, offense and defense though.
