They need to just redshirt Fields this year and blow it up. Can Nagy/Pace and have a firesale. I'm sure we'll get the same tired, lame excuses from Nagy after this sh**show.

I'm personally ready to check out for the season. It gets worse & worse week after week with no accountability.

Yeah, they definitely have run the course with this front office/coaching staff. Time to start over.

Well, we’re going to look at the tape and find the “whys”

No way to mention the hidden issues without finding the whys.

Brady took this one personally.

Between Foles, Fields being from OSU and us beating them last year, he's out to embarrass the Bears today.

Tom is better than that beating up on a rookie QB is not a major accomplishment

OSU/Michigan is a very real rivalry. He mentioned it this week with some smack talk.

Brady hates Foles and he was embarrassed nationally last year against us.

Didn't get to watch this one, but it didn't look too good from the box score for Fields.

I'll say what I've said before: Dalton probably gives you a better chance to win. Keep starting Fields anyway, he needs to learn and won't learn as fast with 2nd team practice reps.

The evidence is scant. But marginally at best. Why anybody worries about the possible win or 2 more in the midst of another lost season is always puzzling. Dalton isnt moving any needles around here.

All that matters. Exactly. Andrew Luck had to take the pain too. Slightly I hedge only because this coaching staff probably is inept as far as development of a QB, and the safety thereof

5 turnovers today from Fields. He better learn how to take care of the football in a hurry. 4 games as a starter and his best game was 209 yards passing. I get it that it's not all on him- probably not even the majority of it. But he has to be better than this if the Bears don't want to lose the rest of their games this year.

Three of the 5 were directly cause by the horrible play of the right tackle he personally allowed the strip fumbles…He was so bad he was benched for a guard who does not play tackle

Possibly. Judging by the “offense” Nagy likes, I would not be surprised to learn that Nagy wanted Jones, but was overruled by Pace. This year is irrelevant to that choice however. Whoever coaches and staffs this future offense will have done the job of creating a framework around Fields when a fair judgment can be rendered.
