Celts are not going to win many games if Grant Williams is making more 3s than Smart and Schroder.

Why? He's a significantly better shooter than both. He should be taking more threes than both players combined.

The point is in today's NBA, you can't have 2 guards starting that cannot make 3-pointers.

Not that my opinion means anything, but I've got to agree with sprash here. Seems like an overreach.

Although I think any suggestion to trade Tatum is an overreaction...at this point in the season.

Grant is super solid.

This team has a Smart and Dennis problem. Those two have been horrendous.

There is plenty of talent on this roster. The coaching and development staff is just garbage-tier. The offense is built around the midrange isolation shot and they play 3 non-shooters to start the game. Give me 82 losses, mass firings, and Chet Holmgren.

Maybe it's also the players we have thats contributing to this? Maybe Tatum isn't the one that we think he is? Wasn't Ime supposed to be this strict guy? I see no discipline on either end with this team.

A good coach would have removed the finesse fadeaway nonsense from his game years ago, so maybe it's too late now. It's what he is and will always be potentially. Bigger, stronger than 99 pct of the NBA, still fades from 18 feet. Still a HOF player, but seems a waste. If only Kerr or MDA had been his offensive coach at some point.

But yeah I have no idea what is so special about Udoka. It's been 9 quarters and 2 overtime periods so hard to say much; I think it's viable to gather data on your players for a month or two before you start making changes.
