This turned to be misake. apparently Suns in 2017 starterd team that was 21 years and 14 days old.
Booker, Chriss, Ulis ,Alex Len and Derrick Jones.

Suns team was so damn young that there were younger than almost all college teams.
4 out of 5 guys from that lineup are either out of nba or on their way out.

So Bamba has a bad game, and still results in a double-double and some effective possessions. That's real growth. Help out even when your game isn't there.

I admit I haven't watched more than bits of games so far...Bamba has always had good numbers, but often played awfully (particularly on D). Has that changed, numbers are great, but impact is what he needs to bring. National news sources can't be counted on to look past the numbers, so I ask you guys...Is Bamba really looking better out there or just getting more minutes?

and, why can't our bigs learn how to properly set a pick (and hold it) :banghead: . If nothing else, maybe ROLO will teach them that.

He is improved but still clueless on defense. When you watch Wagner you can see huge difference already and thats rookie versus 4th year veteran. Some players dont learn. Watch Ross leaving Rose time and time again today to perform half assed double.
You cant have so little awareness being a center.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

We just need to start drafting guys from Orlando so they are playing in front of their home town every night. Cole in NY. Markelle vs Washington. Dudes are like different players when their friends and family are in the building.

He still looks the same... He gets pushed around in the paint. He can't grab rebounds effectively. And he has to have someone next to him with a really good BBIQ to hide how poor his awareness/instincts are. He can only shoot 3s at an inconsistent rate and he's unable to get good post position against anyone who is big enough to push him out (as he lacks strength/base). He is a Shot blocking threat, but it doesn't mean much if you're out of position half the time.

He's putting up numbers on a team that has been blown out 3 out of the first 4 games he's played so it's not a tangible argument to say look at his stats. It's about the eye test and it's obvious that he's a borderline bench warmer at this stage of his career. He's a very frustrating player to watch given his size.
