Can't wait to have a 3-man forward rotation of Isaac, Franz, and Okeke. The combination of offense and defense will provide tons of stability at those positions.

won't go that far yet. We've got them in great contracts for the next 3-4 years... let time determine this one.

Got tons of hope and confidence in suggs figuring this out... but i'm happy that franz is making such an impact now and people are seeing what WeHam were excited about.

It's good to have options and hope...I still think Isaac ultimately gets some time at Center, that's a pretty interesting threesome.

I am glad everyone has changed there minds on Franz. He never deserved criticism for being taken 8th or taking backseat in summer league and preseason. I think he is the real deal. Nimble 6'9/6'10 forward who can dribble, shoot and pass and is already our best defender (untill Isaac and Okeke return at least). His shot is looking good, even today it was going in and out. He will benefit greatly with Okeke and Fultz passing. Next step is pick and roll ball handling but thats propably for next season.
Cant wait for Suggs/Wagner/Okeke/Isaac/Carter defensive juggernaut.

I hope all lineup possibilities are tried and players are given a chance at all the positions that they can play. will be interesting to watch all season.

I can't wait for next summer where we put Franz into the " Anthony Magic Randolph" special where we speculate if Franz grew by 1-2 inches and gained 10-15 lbs of muscles as well as asking for clips of him doing boxing and yoga. Thereby speculating we have a GOAT in waiting ready to take us into the promise land.

The way Carter and Franz are playing, the F.O. has to go from hanging up on someone if the call about J.I., to at least listening to the offer. Same with Okeke.
Kind of like the "make me move him" offer.

First off, as others here said.. aside from probably Suggs ( mainly because we still don't know what we have in him ), NO ONE should be off-limits in our roster for potential trades in bringing in a "star" player.

Second off, I really think the almost(???) 2 year hiatus if JI has made a lot of Magic fans forget how special a player JI is. Other teams also said JI is all-world defender when healthy. So let;s give him that chance first to show if he really is made of glass or not. So with that said, as good as Franz and a lesser extend WCJ has shown, I think people here underestimate JI's impact.

I keep thinking about JI and chuma taking the place of mo Wagner and iggy in our rotation. I can't wait to get them out there.
I think Fultz will take playing time from rj. Rj is talented but I expect him to get a lesser role.

Just imagine.. instead of seeing Rolo, Mo and Iggy subbing in, it's Chuma or WCJ/Bamba because JI and Franz were starting.. gives less anxiety to us fans. lol

Not sure we said different things.
before this year, J.I. was the only untouchable in my eyes. For the right offer that has changed.

I don't think people underestimate J.I.'s impact, it just goes back to the old saying.

True. But what I was saying was, let's give him a chance to show that his body isn't made of glass. Basketball is a contact sport. You gets bumps bruises and injuries. I mean can you imagine PHI right now if they gave up on Embiid after 3 seasons because he was always injured?

ALso, I think people did underestimate JI's impact if we can say stuff something like Franz and WCJ can duplicate what JI brings..

Oh yeah, I'm 100% on board with J.I. can't wait until he's back......... Unless we got a crazy good offer.

I would try Franz & Isaac to gether before i move any of them.

However 2022 mock draft is basically bunch of PFs and Cs and Jaden Hardy & Ivey. Maybe Caleb Houstan stock raised up there to become potential top 5 pick... who knows. But orginal outlook at draft class suggests that Magic will be in position where BPA is probably yet again -big man.

Yeah, I continue to be very high on the Wagner selection for us.

I liked his NBA fit more than Barnes, but we will just have to see how that one plays out over time. Barnes's game has translated better than I expected it would in these early stages.

Regardless, Franz is an absolute keeper for us. When you think about building towards a championship or contending roster, Wagner's skillset is exactly what you look for. Fwiw, I view Suggs in that exact light which is why I thought this was one of the more important drafts we've had in our franchise's history.

He doesn't have a sexy game, but he has an impactful one which is really all that matters. I still see some Turk in him when I watch him. The pull-up off the dribble game isn't there yet, but at his height I think it still will be in due time.

Imagine if science could somehow put Franz’s brain in AG’s body?

Ya know, instead of the half baked potato he has upstairs now. Wow, what a star we could have had. If only …

I think Barnes is just more physical and aggressive compared to Franz more finesse and technical aspect to the game. Both aspects are great assets for any team though.

This might sound bias BUT... imagine if Franz was doing this on a legit PO team AND this trend continues for 10 games or so.

Defense probably as good/comparable to what we seen with Davion
Offense in the flow of the team like Duarte ( meaning no 1-on-1 get yours since we suck )
3-pt shooting with the best of them rooks

People are gonna probably ask how did he drop to 8.

Franz would look really good on a better team. Guy is easily the best cutter on the team, with someone like a KD to draw defense he’d feast.

Needs to work on that handle. Too damn stiff with the ball. But he already exceeded my expectations.

That's the advantage he has playing in his role right now. Cut, shoot, pass, and if necessary attack a closeout with a straight-line dribble to the basket. Suggs isn't quite so lucky in his role.

I did have to chuckle a bit last night at Franz. In the middle of another solid game, he tried to create on the perimeter and fumbled the ball harmlessly at least twice while the defender waited for him to get it together.
