Shout out to Nash. Brown is an integral part of our rotation.

Nash not starting or even playing Brown has cost Brooklyn at least 1 game. He makes a big difference. Brembry is really nice player too I hope Nash going forward gives him more minutes. Harden having a very similar start to his 15-16 season. He will turn it around by game 15.

He's being paid 17 mil a season. Nash needs to get this guy in a position to succeed
We're using him the right way, he just needs to knock down his open looks. He just had the best season of his career last year under Nash.

Miles better off the bench tonight compared to his starts.

Yep. Better energy. Might as well start Blake or LMA

Yeah I hear you because he's been getting open looks but I feel like Joe was a lot better in previous years as opposed to what we see now

Bembry and Brown have to play, their energy made a big difference and even lit a fire under Claxton's ass.

WIth Harden and Joe so cold right now our offense is looking worse than it did at any point during last season. Creating turnovers on defense is more important than ever to give us some momentum on the other end.

Harden and Harris have been absolute garbage. KD literally has to carry us every game. With Mills chipping in.

We need Kyrie more than ever right now.

Also Brown should have started from the get go. It was obvious to all of us. Nash makes too many dumb mistakes.

Start Harden and Brown in the backcourt, subs should be Mills and Bembry. Bembry might be the most disruptive defender on the team.

It's fine. It's Oct. 25th and he figured out that he needs to play Brown. And Bembry.

I'm a little bit worried about our offense. Last year, we would've dropped 135 on this wizard team. Our offense hasn't been as explosive yet. Our defense first off-season moves + Harden struggling + Joe struggling + no Kyrie exposes that a bit. Still super early though.

I liked our energy and ball movement tonight though. We probably finish this game off quicker if Harris and Harden shoot like they normally do. We also had some tired legs.

This won't work against elite teams but I loved Nash just playing all the pitbulls tonight even if the spacing was bad. Brown + Bembry + Claxton were in at the same time. Not sure we won ANY games last year cause of defense but you could feel the difference today. We're gonna need to find a balance though.

Patty Mills is just awesome to watch. So much confidence and energy. Once our guys start clicking, he's gonna have monster games consistently.

I mean Joe has been abysmal. He's posting a PER of 5 on 37/39/50

He needs to perform better. He's not a kid anymore and he's being paid like a high end role player. We need him.

BIG FACTS.

He needs to be better. We've got 8th and 9th men strong into usage to fill in for HWSNBN, because Joe won't step up.

Nash never said that he wasn't going to play Bruce Brown. He just said that he already knew what they had in Bruce Brown and they wanted to give others a chance to see what they could do. He specifically said that Bruce Brown would be back in rotation soon.

Dumb mistake would be not try and experiment. This group of vets definitely consigned with it.

LOL.

Bruce Brown was our 3rd best player in the playoffs last year. There was no scenario in which he shouldn't start let alone get minutes.

It was dumb then and its dumb now.

I don’t know any other coach who doesn’t try to gain a consistent starting line up. It’s important for players to get in a grove and know when their minutes are coming. The issue for the nets last season was lack of consistency with the line up. That was a lot out of necessity but also somewhat Nash. We are healthy and ready to go. There is no reason not to be consistent.

Nash will say he wants guys to be ready to play come play off time if needed but then he didn’t play them in the playoffs when they were needed. Hilarious.

One thing I REALLY noticed this game was the officiating.

It's not just the points of emphasis or the flopping or the foul baiting. The refs aren't calling ANYTHING that isn't blatant or intentional. It feels like FIBA or college at times. I like it but I don't wanna see the refs start calling soft stuff when certain stars are in town.
