Seriously? Of all the posts in this thread, like the troll posts attacking someone who's passed away, that's the one-word response you're throwing out? Seriously? Yeah, seriously. Blindly assuming we'll match any offer is just that: blindly assuming. I never said we wouldn't, I said I'd be surprised if we did.

Seriously.

Miles named EC player of the week.

Congrats Miles - gotta admit that I never expected him to grow beyond valuable role player. Been a treat watching him play so far this season - beast mode Bridges.

I have never doubted him. It feels good to be validated. Miles has leveled up.

From years of being a Bobcats fan, yes, there's plenty of reason to approach this with caution. Doesn't mean I'm not glad we're 3-0.

All I’ll say is that some of you came at me at one point after I said that Bridges could average 24-8-4. Maybe not this year, but that’s definitely reasonable for him.

He just needed to be more assertive. That's what he's been doing since the 2nd half of last year until now. He's really looking great. I always hoped this for him because from the eye test and the functional athlete tests he's go "it."

so happy somebody finally convinced miles to use his handles/quickness to drive to the rim over and over, get to ft line. its transformed his game to legit stud on offense.

Really tough to rank...feels like all year we're gonna go with the hot hand. Here's my attempt at it though...

Miles
Melo
Hayward
Terry
Oubre

Thoughts? Those are some powerful options...if Miles is for real 2-4 seem interchangeable as well...

25% of the cap (~$28M) + 8% raises for 5 years from us. Would be somewhere on the order of $160M-170M.

25% of the cap + 5% raises for 4 years from other teams.

Miles finished last season well over the final 20 games and he's had good games to start this season over the first 4 games, but let's pump the breaks on the "max contract" talk!

Sounds awfully similar to when some posters were suggesting we should sign Graham to a max contract after he had 20 or so good games to start the 2019 season.
