1st big game of the year.

They will be playing back to back, playing today at home vs Cavs.

I think our team are favs, but you have to take care with Denver.

Let's go Jazz.

This could have big seeding implications at the end of the season, as will any game vs the Nuggets. Hope we show up.

The Nuggets may have looked past the Cavs' game towards this Jazz game and then got beat. I think the Nuggets will come ready to fight hard tonight. They need to redeem themselves from the poor showing against the Cavs; they need to avoid falling to a .500 record and they want to beat their top rival. But I think the Jazz will be ready for them. Go Jazz!

I'll be at the game tonight. (I just got a negative covid test result this morning.) Single ticket, Row 9. Looking forward to it. I've never seen Jokic play live.

I think it will be a good game. Would be interested in hearing some of your impressions of the game from being there in person.

We dodged one, I think. Jokic put up 24-6-6 in 15 minutes and didn't play in the second half because of a bone bruise. This could have gone differently had he not been injured. Still, a win is a win.

Good win. I like the fact that we were looking for our big men and that three of Conley's assists were to Gobert. Conley is dialing in his timing with Gobert. Whiteside scored ten points in 15 minutes and got assists from Ingles, DM and Clarkson.

I liked Paschall's minutes. Paschall didn't score, but he played decent D on Gordon, Porter, Jeff Green and Barton. Aaron Gordon was easily driving and finishing on Bogdanovic. When Paschall came in, Gordon drove in to the paint against Paschall once, but Paschall was all over him and Gordon had to make a contested seven footer. The rest of Paschall's seven minute, first half stint, Denver didn't go at him. In Paschall's seven minute second half stint, the red hot Will Barton tried to take Eric Paschall one on one from top of the key. Paschall moved his feet very well, stayed in front of Barton and forced a turnover. The Jazz were a +16 during Paschall's 14 minutes of action.

I loved Conley's timely baskets. Conley and Ingles are two very cerebral players that seem to step up and give the team just what it needs at the right times. Go Jazz!

9 minutes of highlights.

Conley is looking good.

Gordon was killing us.

Great win.

I liked that Butler got some cameo moments. Hope this is a regular thing. His upside is higher than Forrest's. Can't wait to get Gay into the rotation. When Denver went small they erased the deficit and took the lead. Same old problem when other teams go 5 out Jazz have to have a solid counter before the playoffs.

That Butler The IInd of yours... didn't know about him (rookies don't deserve a name or even being considered humans 'til they are sophomores, imo).

I liked him... he looks mature.
