He ain’t even top 20.

Wiggins is one of the worst 20ppg scorers ever efficiency wise, 50% of his shot volume or something like that on 2’s results in 40% FG or less.

It’s gotten better under the GSW system, but on 20++ % usage he wasn’t even a 1 VORP player.

Woefully bad. And his defense isn’t good either. He’s barely above replacement level.

Comp boards tells the true story of him.

The only upside he’s very durable which is the best part about him.

Heard this a lot last year about his defense.. we're still waiting on him to become lazy and a poor defender.

I dont think he has much room to improve TBH, but he's on a different team/culture, that has a whole different level of expectations and roles for him. Growth is not out of the question, and he's been relatively consistent in what he brings to the table: good to great defense, really mediocre shooting, the ability to get to the rim at will, but not the willingness

I hate ranking by position because you can add or forgo people based on whatever subjective qualifier you want.. is Luka a PG? Or is he a SF for the argument? Who knows/cares.. Wiggins is about an average SF because he's a big help on defense and he's ultimately a negative on offense. I'd wager that Warriors fans and people watching the games probably would rank him a bit higher (vote 11-15) while those who are watching other SFs have similar moderate success would put him in the 16-20 range.

But I really doubt anyone being serious thinks he's top 10 at whatever position you qualify him at, using whatever reasoning to disqualify others ahead of him.. he's just not that great of a player. He's fine.

And we would absolutely trade him for Barnes if given the opportunity, Barnes now is extremely different than Barnes in GS 6 years ago. He'd do great here

Well, last season he did shoot a career high in eFG%, three point %, and TS%...would you not consider that as improvement?

Coming into the league he got a lot of Rudy Gay comparisons, these days I like to use Trevor Ariza as a comparison for him.

I don't rank him very high, probably top 15-20 at SF. That said, the guy is a positive on the floor for us. He has played just about every game (71 games last season), plays plus defense, gives you decent volume scoring and efficiency while providing some spacing..honestly has surpassed my expectations of him. He is a two-way contributing player. He's been solid as a warrior so far.

He will only be good when he is out of his current contract. Dude is a bad decision maker, and has been bad for almost all of his carreer, but for much less money he could be very valuable

Warriors fan here. Wiggins in no way is top 10. He is merely adequate. But he is much better in GS than Russell was, so I'm very pleased about the trade to get him, especially since it also netted Kuminga. Maybe he can be used to get a nice player when he has fewer years left on the contract.

hes better because he plays the most valuable position and russell least valuable. doesnt mean hes a better player.
guys arguing wiggins top 10 simply dont understand how warriors system hides his weakness like every player will look better in a gs uniform by 10%.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

This is the only answer. The only thing I care about is he’s not with the Wolves anymore. Good riddance.

yup. they are all trash until they play with steph. then magically, they all become all time greats and steph is "lucky" to have such a historic team carrying him.

I actually like Wiggins and what he brings to our team right now... but let's not get too excited.

*in fantasy

IRL Wiggins is way better. He can play defense and doesn’t need the ball to be effective. DLo just a volume shooter with no defense.. Wolves doing better in spite of him, not because.

Who are we talking about here? That's the complete opposite of the Wiggins I remember.

Wiggins is more entertaining than most all-stars, certainly more entertaining than LeBron.

Wiggins on the Warriors > Wiggins on the Twolves; but not by a ton, people really overrate him at this point. His defensive win shares were a career high last year but a lot of people look better playing with Steph & Dray. He has value here because he fulfills a role we don't have otherwise.

Also, my condolences about DLO.
