It looked like Barnes was due for a bad game and then he just went off in the 2nd onwards. Impressive poise for a rookie.

No shot Scottie get bench when Pascal is back. I can see Precious coming off the bench.

If Pascal rounds into his 2019-20 form when he returns, this team will be making some noise in the playoffs. Still a likely first round exit, but it will probably take 6-7 games, and no team will want to face them.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Just. A. Beating. Too much FrOG Vannunoby for the Pacers.

I think Brogdan going out ended any ball protection they had and that was that. Should give them confidence in playing aggressive defence moving forward.

Great game! Great defense as always and love to see Barnes do this well so early. Getting the experience he needs. Also, FVV with 10 boards

Yeah I don't think you can really have a guy who's averaging 18/9 while regularly guarding the other teams best offensive player come off the bench.

Also he's averaging nearly 36 minutes a game. Nurse has full faith in him clearly. Actually if anything we may start worrying about him dealing with some tiredness if this is how Nurse plans to play him all season.

Great win all around, and so good to finally get a W at home.

The two vets really stepped up and had great games on both ends of the floor. And exciting stuff from the rookies. Both Barnes and Banton had plays in that game that had me laughing out loud at how ridiculously good they were.

Solid contributions by other guys too. Trent's shot wasn't falling, but he was really digging in on defence. And good minutes from Birch and Boucher as well.

This defence just keeps coming along. A few lulls here and there, but when they turn it on, it's impressive stuff.

Let's Go Raptors!!!!

If Pascal gets back on his allstar trajectory and scottie keeps building momentum thru his rookie season and og keeps building, even if we're a first round exit, our outlook going into the offseason is wildly different.

We get to start having the 'one move away' conversation again

Well, there will probably be a rookie wall at some point. Every rookie goes through one. Having said that, Barnes deserves to be on starting lineup playing as much as possible. I'd bench any one of Trent Jr or Precious to get that done.

Great game by Fred, much more measured. Barnes was a beast as usual. Also, Svi's the new McCaw.
