Post-Game Notes: WAS 116, BOS 107 (2-3)

Post#1 » by GoCeltics123 » Thu Oct 28, 2021 2:04 am

Just...**** man. Not happy.

Brown was terrible. Smart was terrible and has been terrible offensively since the first game. Tatum was terrible down the stretch.

NOT GOOD

Props to Al and Schroder. Switching defense has caused major rebounding problems for this team.

One last thing, this team emulates last year in one major way: every time they get close in a game, they shoot themselves in the foot and let the other team extends the lead.

Jaylen sucked. Smart continues to suck like he has all year.

Should've been an ass of shame.

How do you cut the lead to 2-3 points like 3 times in a row and you let them get on a run every time to extend the lead back.

**** pathetic.

Ime is not it. Jaylen is not it. Tatum is not it.

Celtics are not a team. They are a team of individuals. Hopefully that changes.

I think the Celtics are going to be real active around the mid season trade deadline

Stop switching all the time, need more effort in general, start Dennis, bring Smart off the bench, get Pritchard back into the mix once his mask is off, try to acquire Terrence Ross at the deadline, that's about all I got.

I understand the the ball is moving better but it's not leading to a better offense really. Regardless of that this team right now is the same as last year. They're struggling offensively defensively and I'm questioning their effort.

There's no reason whatsoever that smart should be starting over schroder. All of us are constantly being reminded of his winning plays but the dude is shooting 27% for the season in 24% for threes. I don't think I've ever seen a worse shooter as a starting point guard..

Smart isn't the only issue though but he's a big part of it. Brown and Tatum are completely inconsistent as well.

I don't know it's just tough to like this team at this point it just a repeat of last year so far.

Heard this all last year. AL and Timelord have played good. They should be better. Period. They have a better roster than last year

Fire ImE already. That guy doesn’t know what he’s doing. We should have traded Smart. Dennis and Marcus together won’t work. Not enough shooters to finish games.

It's been 5 games, we should not fire our new coach on 5 games lol.

Also Smart and Schroder has a +31 net rating, it has worked. Smart/other combos and Schroder/other combos is what has not working

Celtics have been one of the best teams in the league with regards to moving the ball (5th in the league in assist percentage), until tonight. Hopefully it was just a speed bump and they get back to it in a few days.

That’s just me hoping. Lol.
We have been losing to not so great teams. The “not enough off season time” can’t be a reason anymore this season. If we continue to lose games like this in bunches, he will get fired. But our cheap owners probably won’t do it lol.
