Siakam replacing Trent will be such a nice upgrade to the starting 5.

And maybe Banton is 6th man now.

Yo one thing we haven't talked much about.....this new officiating trend TOTALLY plays into our hand. Let's hope it sticks. That's the kind of thing that could get us 2 or 3 seed positions.

Works for us in 2 ways: we don't have any Harden/Derozan types that specialize in cheap fouls.

Our defenders are the type that love to push the line in contact.

great game. Indiana looking like ****. Maybe that Sabonis/Turner trade will come sooner than expected.

its supposed to indicate a mocking tone - its developed on twitter as a meme to be used in conjunction with a picture of spongebob from an episode where he mocks the other character in a odd tone/eyes popping out of his head

look trent hasnt been great offensively, but i will take a shooter(who we all know can shoot) struggling a bit on offense and competing that hard on defense every day of the week. dude isnt hitting shots but hes playing very very hard.

barnes seemed to have the ball in his hands going up the court ALOT more in the 2nd half, i was really happy to see that.

pretty sure the box score gave one of his assists to birch to fvv too

It is weird seeing Barnes and Baton the two 6'9 guys be the ballmovers while FVV is pounding the rock to the end of the shotclock half the time. Even OG can kill possessions with over dribbling.

I do like the idea of ending the possession with Fred because it maximizes his shooting strength. I am sure they will experiment some more. It sure seemed like they were giving the ball to Scottie and just saying drive to the rim. He had a wild range of shots.

The more I watch Scottie's game be explored the more I see a cross between Antawn Jamison and Lamar Odom. Just a crazy bag of tricks in the painted area along with some showtime passing.

Said this in game thread. Our defensive and tough play benefits from this new officiating. Its so much better. Nba was getting too much and ridiculous.

honestly the one game he carried us through an offensive droubt by getting layups and using his shot fake to create the space

he is a good escape valve for our offense and hes been taking way less off balance jumpers like he did last year

he is bought into the system, he said all the right things at media day - just putting his head down and getting better in as many aspects of the game as he can

I know Barnes was drafted 4th overall, but imagine if Barnes and Banton end up being the steals of the draft.

OG and FVV have both stepped up big the last three games (23/5/3 on 63 TS% and 20/7/9 on 60 TS% respectively with a combined 13 steals) and the threes have been falling again. Obviously we aren't going to be putting up 115 PPG on above average percentages every night, but we're not that team that scored 45 points (or whatever it was) in the first 30 minutes against the Wizards in the opener.

Lakers just lost a game where they had a 41-19 lead over the thunder.

Lebron didn't play but Westbrook and AD did.

I wanna see what he does when he has a bit more time with it. He'd end up being the ball pounder a bit, and likely more turnovers, but he's got vision and I wonder if he has the patience as well.

agreed, i keep forgetting he is 22. hes got alot of potential, especially if he continues to adapt and play with this kind of energy defensively

Screw respecting. Refs just need to call consistently. This bias is getting out of hand.
