Marcus Smart is now shooting 3 for 23 from 3's in his last 4 games. That's 13%.

We need a new starting PG and a new coach.

with maybe a worse coach :nonono:

Maybe, lol.

It's too soon, but I was thinking during the game what coach can we get out there.

Smart and Brown were our worst players tonight and they got the most minutes.

No minutes at all for Pritchard or Nesmith. Ime has very little clue on what he is doing out there.

Realistically there are only 2 choices at this point. Keep things the same and hope it changes or actually make a change. And I'm talking about coach IME and the players

Props to Horford and Schroder for good games. Rob was solid too. Tatum was decent.

Smart, Brown, Richardson and Ime were bad.

Would Indiana even consider this?

This is partially Brad's fault. Dude accepted this **** for too long and never said anything. This isn't new.. Ime has to reset this BS mindset and he is doing it the hard way.

I'm sure that's part of it and Stevens "We will get them next time" attitude didn't help. I honestly have no idea if what Ime is trying to do will work. It could be as simple as the pieces don't fit for this team and haven't for sometime

I think so too.

Smart will be gone.

This team has lost more home games after 2 games (0-2) than then the 86 Boston team for the entire year (41-1).

I thought JT had this moments keeping this team in the game, but he is far from a leader. Disappeared in the do 4th. Smart annoyed me per usual.

Tonight was a gut check for Jaylen. I am a big fan of his but this was a terrible look for him tonight. If he doesn't wake up there's going to be a big shake up coming with his name on it

Smart is due for a big game. Then someone here will say all the Smart Haters took an L.

Book it. Happens all the time. Smart will have one big game every 7 to 10 games. During that period, most of his games will be average or bad, and someone will come and post, " All you Smart haters took a big L."

He needs to be benched for dennis. You can't have a point guard shooting that poorly and expect to get wins.

tatum is 23, everyone doesn't have to lead the same way. you can lead a horse to water...

everybody agrees that Al is a leader and yet we fell apart in that kyrie season with him. sometimes being a good leader isn't all it takes. we don't know what happens behind the scenes.

He gives me the Doc Rivers vibe. Says all the right things and is a bad coach.

And before anyone defends Doc, will go down as one of the most overrated coaches in NBA history. He has done less with more than a majority of the coaches.

He has one title to show for that Ainge handed to him with all the talent. Ainge got him KG, Ray, Posey, House, Casell and PJ Brown. He also handed him coach Tibs to coach the defense.

It's still way too early but Ime is starting to remind me of Doc.

They aren't getting rid of Ime. Not a fan of his rotations but I'm not letting players off the hook for over a year of lolligagging through games. That is a trend and big red flag.

Hmm.

There's something missing from the motivation department still with the Jays. We got the coaching change.

What else left is there? Roster? A core change? What's left to change? Trading Marcus Smart is the last big domino/culture shake this team can experience.

If that doesn't happen, or that isn't it, we may have to just accept that Tatum and Brown aren't guys you can rely on as "dogs", or guys who want to go out there and win win win.

They've both been around a bit now. Effort shouldn't be a concern anymore. But it is. This is still a chemistry/personality issue.

This isn't an Ime thing, cmon y'all. Same bs we've been seeing for sometime now.

This is one of two things imo. Either the guys got too fat and happy under Brad and Ime needs time to iron out bad habits, or the bad habits are 1 of, if not multiple, core players and for those bad habits to go one of those guys have to go.

Not disagreeing on Tatum but in his defense I'm not a big fan of him sitting out the 1st 5 or 6 minutes of the 4th quarter it seems to kill all of his intensity
