Honestly can't think of many rookies with such immediately noticeable bball iq. Everything from his on point rotations and use of his length on defense, positioning on rebounding, recognition of attackable space and obviously court vision - it all screams this guys brain was made for basketball

Scottie is likely never going to have that skill level as a scorer, but just talking the mental side of the game. There have been phenom rookies that put up crazier numbers with polished scoring tools, but I dont know if scottie is second to any of them in feel for the game and instinct
