Demar Derozan
When he was a FA, folks who thought he might go home kept saying how he would mess up a team because he wasnt a 3 point shooter.
Seems like hes doing just fine with the bulls. He is a bucket. Not killing it but being productive.

The issue has always been he's ball dominate and high volume without being super efficient. Not that he doesn't shoot 3's...

I love DeMar and think he is who he is, a great scorer and distributer who like anyone, will have off nights shooting.

Re: Demar Derozan
He is playing great. Question is would you trade him for Simmons?
On one hand, break up some building chemistry.
On other hand, pairing a 25yo Simmons long term with LaVine and Ball could be a franchise setting trade.

Re: Demar Derozan
DD is a good player, not a great one. He is so below the radar that no one talks about him at all anymore - like late-stage Vince Carter.
He doesn’t move the needle either way… he scores enough that you can overlook he defensive deficiencies. He’s like Melo was: a good player, but not a #1 option that’s taking you deep in the playoffs.
As a 2nd option? Probably not.
Honestly, he is best positioned now as a third option midrange release valve.

Lol, watch them backtrack and shift goal posts. Demar will be an Allstar this season and if the Bulls are a top 2 seed, he will be a top 10 MVP candidate because the numbers are definitely going to be there.

Re: Demar Derozan
He's fine. His defensive ineptitude and lack of 3pt range hard cap his ceiling but that doesn't mean he isn't a useful player.

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

Re: Demar Derozan
So far he has attempted and made more 3's per game than anyone would have expected.
His defense has also been pretty good at times, and never really worse than average.
We'll see how these things hold up as the season progresses.

dude dont say that after washed vuc struggling to score teens. DD was always valuable as a wing and he added 3pt he is a good 2nd option for treadmill teams, but would be bench off lakers.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

yeah if not a stupid team offered near max, he would have been a laker for MLE. no other team was offering more money.
like demar still dreams of being a laker he just wants a trade like brodie now he secured the bag. hes a guaranteed laker by age 35 now that he wants rings and retirement home.

Where’s that thread with multiple cement-headed Laker fans saying Derozan would take the tax payer MLE to join the Lakers?
Derozan is who he is. Can’t defend but can definitely prop up your offense.

Re: Demar Derozan
Y'all need to chill with the Bulls hype. They beat the Pistons 2x, Pelicans, and Craptors...Let's wait til we crown them beast of the East until they play some quality opponents.
