There's probably more than half the posters here who grew up on those jerseys. It's nostalgic and different than the Christmas colors we always rock for throwbacks.

Plus the green/red shiny jerseys we wore in 2006 were so much uglier.

I know it's nostalgia. Doesn't make them any less ugly.

I also agree the '06 iteration was awful.

The shirsey at least had multiple shades of green which I assume was an homage to the IR. I'd be surprised if they use the actual striping of the irish rainbow since we basically do that with our current set but it does seem like they're going to include those colors.

Edit: I suppose there's a chance it's something dumber like just choosing two different shades of green from two different eras.

I think that must be the Wolves on the other side as well and that one is also wrong so I'm not really sure what we're looking at here.
