we outplayed them
better gameplan (all of our pnr coverages and blitzes)
our defensive rotations were on point
we were unnecessarily sloppy with the ball at times

minuses-
Randle needs to pass out of the double team faster
I think he needs to faceup the mismatch more than to just post.

Didn't watch this game live. I'll watch it at some point.

Randle, throughout his career, seems best attacking mismatches on the move/downhill. Can he do it from the post? Sure. But the best version of Randle seems to be attacking the mismatch outside in, driving it and scoring or passing from there.

Yeah, I hated those possessions. It's so robotic and it wasn't what gave us the lead. Those plays kill our movement.

Fournier 4-14 was pretty sketchy as well. He's streaky.

I mean he got a lot of foul shots off the post. I think he got foul shots on every post up he tried. but I still want him to faceup more because hes shown that hes susceptible to holding onto the ball too long when the double comes. if hes facing up atleast he will see the court better than to be a sitting duck.

Well you make you own luck. They seemed to want it more. We are considerably more talented though. It was a road win versus a tough team. Ill take it. Ill say one thing..we are just skimming our full potential...

It's almost as if a team with two new starters is taking some time to gel...

RJ and Kemba get the game balls and Evan and Randle need to walk home. Very bad

No idea what Burks is doing out there. Randle has been great at times - but when teams apply the pressure...not good, not good at all.

I will celebrate every ugly win we get. Sometimes it ain't pretty. We got the W against a team that was undefeated in their building

Maybe some on here are too young, but the Riley\JVG era Knicks had a LOT of ugly wins that were close games. Actually, in retrospect, it felt like 90% of the wins.
