I'm lot more rational when I don't watch the game.

If I watched this, I'd be tearing every Knick the proverbial new assh*le.

kemba has been great these past 2 games. it feels different having a starting point guard who can create his own shot and hit 3's. hopefully this isn't a fluke and keeps this up

Listen... that game had my heart pumping like the Celtics game did. Would have preferred to put them away more convincingly, but still a great win that puts the Knicks at the top of the conference, with a lot of other positives to take away, including an impressive showing from RJ capped off by a clutch defensive stop at the end. Mitch was incredible again. Kemba solid again. Obi was impactful again. And actually, I love the way Randle facilitated most of the game with all the double teams they threw at him. He also made some clutch baskets in the 4th that are being overlooked right now.

I think some of you are being too hard on the team as usual. We're only 5 games into this. A lot of people keep repeating the same line- "this won't work in the playoffs". Well, luckily it's still October, and this is why they play the games, watch the film, and try to correct some of this stuff in practice throughout the year.

The Knicks will work on this. Randle will continue to improve as a player and a leader for this team. I'm just so grateful for all of the good things we have, including our coach. Again... awesome win IMO. Ya gotta love going into the UC and handing the Bulls their first loss. Eat sh*t, Barkley.

I'm worried about Randall's mental toughness. His horrendous playoff performance and him missing big shots at the end is something that needs to be addressed.

The sad thing is that it wasn't just the 4th quarter. The ending of the 3rd was just as atrocious.

Well, no OTs. That's progress.

Seems like we just try to kill the clock out and go into last second isos.

GONYK wrote:As frustrating as this win was, it shows how well we can play while being nowhere near our ceiling.

That's encouraging for a team that still has an eye on making a big move.

The reason we almost fell apart at the end is we went into play not to lose strategy and drain the clock with way too much time left. All rythym and passing went out the window. Ugly. Thats on Thibs to correct.

I now see why Thibs said we are far from being a 48 min team a few games ago

Dame is going to suck the life out of the team because POR is going to want everything in return.

I'd love to have him, but he's too rich for us to get.

How would our offense change we are milk the clock team at the end of games. Or Randle would call for the ball.

Also he has the worst ranked defense in the league of all point guards. That’s bad real bad. He makes Quickley and Kemba look like Gary Paton
