He's not playing well, but I'm willing to give him some time. He's done enough to help us overall. Or at least not hurt us.

I think it has to be kicked around a little bit, the idea of bringing him off the bench until he gets his rhythm. I'd be very worried about our perimter defense if Lee starts though.. the guy is the Eric Byrnes of our defense

Last year, i think he tried to play off of others. This year, he plays like others should play off of him.

Maybe Poole gets stage fright. We should ask some ex-girlfriends of his

Also he doesn’t use Curry’s gravity like the other teammates. He goes iso till the defense resets back to normal and can no longer exploit what Curry gives him.

He really needs to learn to play off-ball in this system. He did it in Michigan but he was *the* guy. Here is the 2nd banana and needs to be aware of when he's in the 1st banana's way

But truth is, they had a whole offseason to work on this. At this stage, you put him on notice and make sure he's the first guy pulled, putting Lee in with the starters as a subtle 'audition' for the starting role. Moody fits better but he's not going to get the opp this quick

He thinks he’s first banana here. I don’t blame him. He has to, but for crying out loud you have the greatest shooter of all time here. Get your shots off Curry and do his iso’s when the team really needs it.

Also I’m begging Myers to please find this team a big man. I don’t believe a second year Wiseman will take us to the championships.

No, he doesn't have to. He should not in any way be thinking he's #1. Maybe when they are with the second unit, but it doesn't need to be dumb step back 3s in the most difficult angles.

I dunno.. from a statistical standpoint, he's passing more. It looks more like pressing than anything, and taking some really risky shots to try and kick-start momentum. At least his defense is looking better, which is a great sign IMO. But its just a silver lining in a really **** start

I meant to say he has to believe he is the top player to become the top player. A player can not have doubt in his abilities. But I think he went far past that point where his imagination is greater than what he actually is in practice. Unless he can beat Curry in a shooting competition he has no business jacking up those threes.

Poole's going to be fine. He's totally embraced the Warriors style of play. He's trying to take Curry shots and make Draymond passes but he needs to keep sharpening those tools because it's a fine line between aggressiveness and recklessness and Draymond and Steph still make tons of mistakes. Patience...

Steph needs to play the "stop floating passes into the middle of the key" challenge

When Ja steps into the pain I can't see his feet. Discuss.

The floating pass is part of his game.
Its like saying Draymond should shoot better or Wiggins should be consistently aggressive. They are who they are. Doesn't make it any less frustrating though.
