Coming off a win last night, the Wizards are hosting the 3-1 Hawks.

Gafford, Bryant and Hachimura are out. Dinwiddie is also out, resting his recovering ACL. Trae Young, Huerter, and Bogdanovic are listed as "day-to-day".

Gonna be a tough one with half our team missing.

Logistics question, who starts the next game thread, nate33 or CCJ ?

Boston will be without Smart, who is not traveling with the team due to illness. (Not Covid related)

On one hand, Smart plays Beal really tough. On the other hand, he's been miserable on offense this year. Pritchard can shoot the lights out.

Yes, that's his job, the fact that Tommy didn't part-ways quickly after the playoffs and engaged in contract extension discussions with him is the point.

Tommy's job is to hire the coach or at least suggest whom to hire. That was all typical Ted BS.

BTW. Love the new unofficial rules about the refs just letting them play. Not calling fouls just because a guy lowered his shoulder on the drive and forced contact. It definitely helps us in some ways, but then hurts a guy like Beal, who is used to getting to the line 7-8 times per game.

This team reminds me of those early -mid 2010 Atlanta Hawks teams. They had one or two legit stars/All-stars a year on those teams and they had a bunch of guys who played above their skill level and a bunch of young underpaid vets who played well together.
