Re: Cade Brigade starts tomorrow 10/30
I had a nightmare. Cade comes back, turns his ankle and I mean ruins it worse than Grant Hill and is never the same again.
In the nightmare I come here to the board and a story is posted that says the Pistons admit they are at fault because the fans were griping that Cade wasn't playing and they let him play before he was 100 percent.
Then, the true nightmare comes, the next poster arrives, MANOCAD.
He rips in to all here and torchers everyone for all eternity.

That's certainly an inaccurate description of what would really take place. I wouldn't use a torch. I'd use napalm.

Re: Cade Brigade starts tomorrow 10/30
It just hit me that you wrote "torchers" and not "torches." So I'm assuming you meant "tortures." Clearly more accurate; I do that already.

I"m not buying it until I see something official from Pistons. Looks like click bait to me

The Pistons obviously would like a home game against Orlando to be his coming out party because it will be a good chance to win.

Re: Cade Brigade starts tomorrow 10/30
Just looked at the games going on tonight and saw that Orlando is playing the Raptors right now, so they are on a back to back tomorrow, so a bit more advantage for Cade and the boys.
I saw something that Shocked me, The Pacers are 1-4? WHAT? I thought they would do well this year, man, tough start for them.

Believe it when I see it. I'm hopeful, but we'll see.

Zeeb, you said you were having fun watching the Cavs. They at at the Lakers tonight at 10:30. I am staying up to watch that for sure.
Right now I'm gonna check out the Pacers and the Nets and have a peak at Orlando/Toronto to see Barns and our competition for tomorrow.

Hopefully the addition of Cade can add a bit of pace and excitement to the offence… otherwise we’re in for another ugly one.

Even then you can't be sure. Hologram technology these days is pretty good.

Re: Cade Brigade starts tomorrow 10/30
Cade is going to open up the game for everyone else on the court. The lack of elite athleticism (of the Pistons roster overall) is a potential problem that can become apparent against top teams but it'll be fun to see how it all plays out.
Hope that Cade has fully recovered and can remain 100% the rest of the way.

Garland
Sexton
Markkanen
Mobley
Allen
It gave the Clippers fits, and they looked tiny. Couldn't rebound to save their butts.

Better hope that those glass ankles were replaced, not just repaired. I think everyone here knows that a repair on your cracked windshield doesn't last long...

Well? They look real good don't they? Super young and prone to some mistakes, but the vets are helping keeping them grounded.Pistonrings wrote:Zeeb, you said you were having fun watching the Cavs. They at at the Lakers tonight at 10:30. I am staying up to watch that for sure.

The team is just HUGE and the Lakers, even with their bevy of big guys are having a hard time stopping their rat quick gaurds, and keeping the giants off the glass.
Crazy cool mix of players they have.

Re: Cade Brigade starts tomorrow 10/30
We haven't seen Cade play yet. Now that I know he is only 6'6, (an inch shorter than Rip Hamilton is) I am very disappointed in the draft folks all over the country who went around posting that he was 6'8. I mean, imagine drafting a number 1 overall pick, a Center, maybe like Embiid or A Davis. He is touted all through this draft process that he is 7'1. The fans are excited, man they are getting an awesome 7'1 center. They draft him and then they say, nah, he isn't 7'1, he is 6'9. That would piss me off mightily. A couple inches in height can obviously make a difference, shell, even in the intimidation factor, for instance it might make a difference in the decision to drive on you and shoot over you
This isn't Cade's fault, and I'm sure he'll be fine, but it most certainly could make a difference in shot blocks for and against, ask any shooter if he would love to shoot as good and have a couple more inches of height.
Anyway, it is what it is and Cade will do what he does.
But, this had me wondering. Do you think Toronto would right now trade Scotty Barns straight up for Cade, knowing what Barns has done?
I don't think they would do it. I think they got an awesome player in Barns and I just don't think they would part with him for anyone else in this draft.
I bet Houston WOULD trade Green for Cade right now, lol.

This has to be trolling at this point. Otherwise there's so much that's ridiculous about this take. We basically spent all of August and September with satirical posts just like this, except we were joking.Pistonrings wrote:We haven't seen Cade play yet.
