I know 4 way deals are near impossible, but who says no here?
Chi sends DeRozen to Philly
Chi sends DJJ to Sac
Chi sends PWill/CWhite to Detroit
Chi gets Simmons/DGreen/Bagley
Det sends Grant to Philly
Det sends 1 2nd to Sac
Det gets PWill/CWhite
Sac sends Bagley to Chi
Sac gets DJJ plus two 2nds
Philly sends Simmons/Green to Chi, plus a 2nd to Sac
Philly gets DeRozen and Grant
Sac dumps a headache, gets two 2nds, saves a bit of $ and adds DJJ-a harmless bench piece
Det gets 2 great pieces for their rebuild. White could be a perfect 3rd guard with Hayes/Cunningham and PWill is a nice option at the forward with Bey long term
Chi goes for it, with a Klutch (like Lavine/Ball) upgrade. DDR is a good player, but older. Bulls REALLY need a defender like Simmons for the Eastern conference top teams. Green is a fine 5th starter, and Bagley is a gamble piece-still with upside
Ball/Caruso/Ayo
Lavine/Caruso/JGreen
DGreen/TBrown/JGreen
Simmons/Bagley/AJohnson
Vuc/Bradley/Bagley
Philly does VERY well for the Simmons mess, getting 2 near ALL stars

Re: Chi-Philly-Det-Sac
I would take the Kings equation out and not sure Philly would want Derozan and Grant with Harris. I don't think you can play those 3 together. I do however like premise of Derozan plus Williams(going to some 3rd team) for Simmons and an expiring wing shooter. Ball, Lavine, Simmons, Vuc core 4 is LEGIT. Add a 3 pt shooter to that group and boy you have something. Philly does need something besides Derozan and that is hard part finding a 3rd team that wants Williams and/or White and can give Philly another piece ideally a veteran guard.

Re: Chi-Philly-Det-Sac
I'm fine with the Kings portion, Id want the Kings to call SA separately and just forward DJJ + the 2 2nds + 1 more of our own 2nds, and just grab Thad Young. SA can't turn down 3 2nds for him can they?
Philly should take this deal and run imo. DeRozan becomes the primary ball handler, but he proved in SA hes capable. Grant is a nice element to that team as well. DeRozan - Curry - Grant - Tobias - Embid. with a really good bench.
Detroit swaps Grant for Williams, nice buy low while hes hurt. Next year - Cade/Bey/Williams with a legit big is pretty nice.
Feels like Chicago isn't paying enough, but I like it for all the others so no complaints.

Still thinking about the valuations but I like the concepts here. Simmons and green give Chi a new forward pair with Williams out. Detroit is a reasonable destination for williams since they can wait out his injury while tanking. Sixers get two solid win now vets ( not sure that they are the right guys). Team direction is taken seriously.

Re: Chi-Philly-Det-Sac
I'm fine with Grant and DDR in return for Simmons, but the simple fact is those two with Tobias would be terrible. Therefore Tobias needs to go out here too.
Has to wait until December 15th:
CHI gets Simmons, DGreen, and Bagley (DDR, PWill, CWhite, DJJ)
DET gets PWill and CWhite (Grant)
PHI gets DJJ, Grant, Hield, and DDR (Simmons, DGreen, THarris)
SAC gets THarris (Hield and Bagley)

Re: Chi-Philly-Det-Sac
Personally not interested in adding Tobias to the kings. I think we need more of what buddy brings off ball than what Tobias brings. Even at this price, I'd probably pass.the_process wrote:I'm fine with Grant and DDR in return for Simmons, but the simple fact is those two with Tobias would be terrible. Re: Chi-Philly-Det-Sac
I think DDR, Grant and Harris could work, with Curry. Lots of versatility, and they can all score 20 easily any night. Of course, hurts their D some, but Grant is very solid. DeRozen hasn't been that bad on D so far for Chi
With Williams out I doubt Det would do this now, but if they would, all the better.

No, they cannot. Occupy the same spaces on the floor.
