Holy smokes what a sequence. THJ missed open 3, Bullock blocked 3, DFS two missed open 3's in a row and then missed a layup. :nonono:

DFS... can't even hit a layup.

His 3pt shooting has been abysmal. He's only shooting wide open 3s! No reasons to hit 20%.

Luka doesn't get the call on one end with a lot of contact, but MPG gets a called that should have been a charge. The defensive player was there with feet planted outside the restricted area... Ref swings.

Another bad 1st quarter. Is it too much to ask to start playing in the 1st quarter?

They’re not playing great but they have had some open shots they’ve missed. Hopefully this shot he just made gets Hardaway in a roll.

Idont blame the other starters, but there seems to be some powell fetish in 1st again. Maybe powell got someway to blackmail kidd?

The bench continues to be the lone bright spot. Luka needs to play better, aside from Powell he's been the worst starter so far.

Why wouldn't you blame them for coming out flat every game? Powell is just one player.

DFS is now 0/5, THJ 1/7, Luka 2/8, Bullock missed his three 3s. DFS and THJ both have 2 TOs.

While Powell shouldn't start, he isn't the only problem.

EDIT: Powell in the 1st half is -5, the other 4 starters are -15 to -17.

If the order is to feed powell constantly and he keeps missing everything, the issue is him. I dont like myself for saying this, but a season ending injury for powell seems to give mavs atleast 5 more wins then if we gonna keep trying to get his tradevalue up by feeding him everything

Bullock has been by far the worst starter tonight. Luka would have about 7 assists if he’s hit his shots. He finally got one to go when they went on that 7-0 run but he’s been really bad tonight.

This team has to score 100+ points a game to win reliably. It will be the tell tale sign this season looking at the box score.

Now keep in mind they are playing the 2nd half of a back to back and playing it in Denver against a really good team.
