Honestly, even though the roster isn't really his fault, if Vogel can't fix the defense, he's not a good enough offensive coach to keep him on. He's coaching for his job over the next couple of months.

Nobody short of a literal sorcerer would turn this team into the 2017 Cavs with Westbrook as the starting PG.

LeBron played 11 years with Cleveland and Buss/Pelinka make Dan Gilbert look like a basketball god. He’s been there four years. Year 1 they put together a trash roster. Year two they were gifted AD by LeBron/AD. Year 3, terrible construction. Year 4, terrible construction. This is what happens when you give the GM job to a guy because he was Kobe’s agent and not because he has any clue what he’s doing.

I had the same thought. Just mind-boggling.

I mean, I'm not claiming McDonald and Lantz are some amazing duo, but at least they aren't rabid homers like these maniacs. Christ.

It's not an exaggeration. Every point scored in that stretch came from his primary or secondary assignment. Every, single, one

It's been a league wide issue this season to be honest. The goal was supposedly to stop rewarding floppers and foul baiters, which is great. But they also decided to just stop calling obvious fouls altogether. This is not and has never been how basketball was officiated.

I'm usually not one to go around accusing players of being soft but good lord. Giannis would've dunked the hell outta that

LeBron looks great out there, btw. Oddly enough he started looking better AFTER the ankle injury the previous game.

AD floats too much. No reason for him to be this invisible for half a quarter

Edit, and right on cue, he gets bodied by **** Lauri on a fast break. This AD is such a far cry from 2020

Start the half in a hole because of DJ, then bring Melo in and lose those minutes. Lakers will have like 5 minute stretch in the fourth to make a comeback.
