It’s only been one game but I’d imagine that Bowen is stolen from the Wolves the second ten days are allowed. Maybe even sooner.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

Gives a chance for the team to see all three guys play tonight before the club flies to Memphis tomorrow.

Unless Wolves clear cap space with a trade & say sign Knight to a FT deal & give Bowen other 2-way deal.Mamba4Goat wrote:It’s only been one game but I’d imagine that Bowen is stolen from the Wolves the second ten days are allowed. Maybe even sooner.
It's only a matter of time before Knight is given a shot & with our current lack of bigs....Knight can give us some rebounds & edge/grit that's still sorely lacking?

Knight in the same way as Naz is is probably the second most offensively talented forward option we have to put next to KAT (with Naz being #1). However, Knight in the NBA probably mirrors year 1 Naz in terms of production.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

Numbers wise...that's probably fair comp or expectations. He might be though a slightly more athletic version of Naz (especially rookie year Naz).Mamba4Goat wrote:old school 34 wrote:Unless Wolves clear cap space with a trade & say sign Knight to a FT deal & give Bowen other 2-way deal.Mamba4Goat wrote:It’s only been one game but I’d imagine that Bowen is stolen from the Wolves the second ten days are allowed. The second link is to a Mavs article about him and one other player, they list his summer league numbers, including over 50% 3 point shooting.

Based on his SL box scores FT shooting is no longer a concern. First couple games were incredible, but he regressed after those.

True, but also worth noting that the competition level in SL is below that of the G. Overall I think this was a good move. I fear his wingspan is a problem, but we needed extra SF depth, and this is that.

Re: Iowa Wolves/G League talk
G League and Summer League twitter are speaking very highly of this signing.

Re: Iowa Wolves/G League talk
Looks like a solid pickup, especially if his shooting has improved that much. Mavs twitter really liked him and wanted him on a 2way.

Hopefully we can poach someone like David Johnson from Toronto for PG if we are looking for one to develop in Iowa on a 2 way

I would love to steal Jamaree Bouyea from MIA. He had a very poor SL, but I am kind of believer. This kid has potential

He signed an exhibit 10 with the Heat on the 12th. I think that means he is stashed, can someone please confirm?
Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
