Nah. Pass. He looks out of shape for an offensive linesman. And too short to play the position.

lets not get it twisted, the heat is going to be a nightmare

Monster game by RJ, solid game by Walker and Fournier. Randle needs to get his head out of his backside.
Walker may be playing too many minutes this early. Rose can play more.
IQ is still struggling but I have no doubt that he's hasn't lost the ability to shoot. He's just going through a bad patch at his point. We need to get him back playing well if only to restore his value as a trade asset.
Burks dribbles too much out there for my taste. That second team offense is not flowing at the moment. None of the 2nd team guards were attempting to get Obi any opportunities tonight.
Win is a win - and this was a game we needed to win given how beat up New Orleans is.
Thibs has completely destroyed the bench offense. Burks is now the default point guard for some reason and Rose has been relegated to SF? in our offense, aka a spot up shooter despite being the team's best ball handler. IQ and Burks handle the ball more than Rose now which makes no sense whatsoever

The thing about RJ that I noticed in the preseason was his passing. His shooting was a bit off and he wasn't getting the same number of shots (due to the presence of Fournier and Walker). But he was making lots of plays for his teammates.
His PnR stats from the playoffs were excellent, he had solid regular season numbers in the play as well, we just never run it for him. There's always been flashes, he's just a good passer because he's willing to make the pass if it leads to the next pass, nobody else on the team does that, he doesn't need to get the assist to move the ball.
the pass to Taj for the dunk might have been the best play of the entire night.
When you have it cooking to still make the right basketball play tells me a lot about a player.
Before anyone goes crazy and says I'm comparing them...im not.
But he runs the P&R in a similar style like Luka does. Not skill wise but the way he slow plays the P&R and contorts his body and uses his strength to fend off the trailing defender. He runs it at his own pace and is successful.
