I am extremely bullish on Mobley and think he will be a superstar when it comes to impact in the wins column.

Poor mans Garnett. Has pretty much the base of every skill you want in a big man in todays NBA

Like a consistent top 5 big in the league. He's been excellent and the Cavs finally have a piece to build around

He's amazing. Clearly the best prospect.. Can't believe he went third..

I think Davis is his ceiling

I think he will be recognized as the best pick from his draft class, and it won't be even close. He will be better than Bosh in (almost) every regard.

I’m not sure he’s a poor mans KG. He might reach that level minus the fake tough guy personality. I haven’t seen a big this fluid since AD.

Mobley hasn't gotten much of an opportunity but he's a really good passer. It will become more apparent as he gets more confident making plays.

he already is if you watched cavs. as a rookie, being best player on 500 team is very hard. the guy is basically 10pt swing.

Basically the Cavs are night and day when Mobility is on the floor. Long season will have his ups and down but one thing is for sure he brings winning impact.

His one of those players that are better than his raw stats and will be an advanced stat darling.

I see a rich mans Wilt/Kareem out there.

Okay all jokes aside, this kid has a really solid feel for the game defensively, just know right where he needs to be.

More KG than Duncan.

I swear - seems like nobody is capable of any comparison or upside projection that isn't a top 25-50 player all time.

Love his game. I'd say he's far more Bosh/Webber/Gasol type than KG or Duncan. A realistic outcome I think Bosh's body and mobility with Marc Gasol's game, feel and nuance.

Honestly if I'm a Cavs fan, I want him to be a Bam type. Someone who will impact the game everywhere. **** points and stats. Gobert is DPY every year - hell never win a title as the key cog IMO. Yeah lotsa blocks and steals are nice to look at but theres far more defensive impact a player can have outside of counting stats.

In terms of best player in this class - Barnes is running away with that by a landslide right now. He's averaging 18/9 on a team with far more established players, system, and staff than Mobley. Even with all the mistakes he's making his workrate on the court is obscene.

This is the future of the league. Guys like OG, Bam, Mobley, Barnes...they affect the game everywhere to the point where stats become (kinda) irrelevant.

These two though...Evan and Scottie...play the game the right way. Beautiful team basketball. Type of guys you'd always wanna play with in any run.

Atm he's an elite finisher finisher.

What's scary about the guy though for a 7 footer with an insane wingspan is he looks so agile out there, he doesn't look like he moves like a big man at all.

If he reliably can consistently create his own shot RIP the league.

This on top of his DPOY like defense.

Mobley is a clear number one for me. Barnes is obviously two but bigs with Mobleys type ability only come along every 10 years or so.

He actually seems more nimble/quick on his feet.

I don't think there's a perfect comparison and I already know how I can get flamed for the comparison I'm about to make but defensively the closest thing I can see (and it's definitely rough footage lol) is something like (keywords -- not exact) Bill Russell who actually had VERY similar measurements and overall size.
