Can't expect to beat good teams just by being good for 1 q.. Gotta stay efficient throughout the whole game. And we seem to still have reb issues. Should've sign Biyombo man.

Biyombo? Disgusting. We have enough players that are only good on 1 end of the floor.

Another very encoraging game from defense stand point of view but my god, another poor game from offense. It's just unbeievable how sloppy the team is with the ball. They just threw away this game with the sloppy play on offense. I think offense will figure it out eventually but yeah it is going to take some time

Finch needs to try dlo/Edwards/prince/McDaniels /Towns lineup. We would have more offense and spacing to start the games.

My thoughts:
- Proud of KAT. He kept his emotions in check. He obviously realized his bickering with the refs was having a detrimental impact on his team.
- KAT needs more than 11 shot attempts. He should have the most or 2nd most shot attempts on the team every night.
- Ant needs to lock in (in his own words). 14 points on 19 attempts isn't going to cut it. He has too many games with more fg attempts than points.
- Glad to see Beasley get into a groove.
- Only 16 min for Vando?
- The team is so much more enjoyable to watch with Beverley on the floor than DLo.
- Need to tighten up the rotation to 9 guys. Sooner the better.

Taking Bev out for dlo was not smart. Especially in a defensive battle

Totally threw this one away and you could see it happen. Cold shooting and turnovers down the stretch did it.

I was hoping we were beyond this. Kat, Ant and Dlo all disappoint.

Need to see more offensively from Jaden. He’s seem to be falling into a corner 3pt shooter only

We have the talent to make incredible plays.

To win though, we need to add the consistency to make the routine plays as well.

Ant killed us tonight. Dlo was bad and Karl didn’t do much in the 2nd half, but Ant had what I consider the worst game of his entire career. Missing a point blank overtime shot was just the icing on the horrible cake.

Shout out to Beasley who finally took my advice and found his game. Let’s hope he doesn’t lose again anytime soon.

I'll take it.

It wasn't a good loss by any means but I can accept it as a growing pain, especially when it's our offence that is letting us down. That should fix itself with time.

Game tied at 89 then we had 4 straight misses by Beas 2X, KAT, and DLo. Nuggets score quick 4 points, Ant hits layup and misses the last second layup.

If the shot clock buzzer doesn’t confuse Ant we would’ve had a 2 on 1 fastbreak on Morris small ass

6 of 19, 0-6 from 3. Ant was the problem.

The entire building seemed out of it from the opening tip and from then on I never thought we’d win the game. Defense remained a plus, but the offense still lacks any resemblance of chemistry. For that, I mostly blame D-Lo. I’m not sure the guy will ever be a point guard and telling him to run the offense seems to only do him a disservice. Last year I said Rubio should start and D-Lo should be 6th man off the bench and I still feel that way with Beverly. (I’d try Bev, Beas/Prince, Ant, Vando, Towns with D-Lo and the other Beas/Prince leading second unit)

That said, all in all, I thought it was an encouraging performance because effort was there again and bench finally came around (mainly Beas plus Naz).

I’m sure I sound like a broken record at this point, but I just don’t get it with McDaniels. He’s ok on man D, but otherwise awful. He has to be one of the worst starters in the NBA if not the worst. I’d like to see Prince have the same opportunity and see if he can make something of it. Prince has shown he’s capable in the past. In my opinion McD should be in G-League or a DNP-CD.

Russell has started the 3 of the past 4 games like 1-10 in the first half and today he had spurts of disengagement on defense or he’d get caught watching. It’s unrealistic but Finch should start reeling in his minutes. D’Lo is Uber talented and can impact the game in multiple ways but right now he’s causing a lot of tough starts.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

You have a point. That said I have a different solution. Move Ant to the second unit and tell him to take over. Your starting lineup Dlo, Beasley, MCD. V8, KAT. Your second unit
Beverly, Ant, Okogie, Prince, Reid.

Ant or KAT are often hampered by playing with the other. Ant needs to attack more and to do it he needs to be the center of the offense. KAT meanwhile needs to shoot more and Dlo needs to become more of a facilitator who shoots when wide open or when he has the hot hand. Meanwhile the addition of Beasley back to the starting lineup will give KAT and Dlo the space they need to operate.

Edit to include KAT took only 3 shots in the first half and 11 for the game. He cooled in the second half because A he didn’t shoot enough and B he was well defended without getting calls. The prior game KAT had 13 shots and made 9 of them. When the big 3 share the floor KAT cannot get the ball enough. If Ant is going to take more shots than KAT consistently, they need to be when KAT is off the floor (not counting end of game, obviously.) Meanwhile, getting Beasley going like he was tonight with consistent minutes and catch and shoot opportunities will make our offense considerably more dangerous.

Heading into tonight Ant and Towns were the best two man net rating in the entire NBA.
