Brandon Clarke gets almost no PT, does he suck? He is an ideal buy low player that could pay off if Memphis is willing to trade him.

He seems buried om the Grizzles bench. Looks to need a change of scenery. Could be a 2nd round pick.

I love Clarke, but he seems like the odd man out with all the money they have invested in Jaren Jackson and Adams.

At this rate, I’d take a chance on Bol Bol. He hasn’t played in like 3 seasons, and at the very least he may give us a shot blocker in the paint.

Also as another trade asset, the Bulls have a $5mil trade exception from the Theis S&T to Houston.

A cheap option, but how about James Johnson? He’s not playing much in Brooklyn and likely would cost very little.

I doubt the Grizzlies would bite on that but I'd love to find a deal for Clarke.

Let's be honest, the Bulls are going to ride with what they have for a while until they see what they have. If they are rolling into the trade deadline with one of the best records in the NBA, they might make a big move.

Also, as other people noted, they have to wait for the Lonzo Ball investigation to end.

Can someone fill me in on Brandon Clarke's strengths and weaknesses? High IQ? Motor? Rebounding? Defense? Offense? Yes, I've read some reports but more interested in hearing from the smarter folks who are here on this board, not the people who write scouting reports and also put the Bulls as a .500 team.

I really liked Clarke early on in his career. He is hard working and smart. If I had to find a comparison as it relates to the Bulls, it would be Taj Gibson with a little worse defense. At least, stylistically.

That said, Clarke plays the game like a big man and not a wing player. That isn't what the Bulls are looking for obviously. They want a tall small forward at the PF spot, not a small center. I doubt Clarke would be on their radar.

I would like it if they swapped Matt Thomas for DJ Wilson. Wilson has very good height and length for the 4, but the mobility and play instincts of a 3. His basketball IQ is low - so he’s a developmental type - but the upside for a team looking at him for the role the Bulls use for the 4 is absolutely enormous.

Please sign him, AKME. Just for a deep bench option. With Ayo showing, Troy Brown and Coby coming back, we have enough smalls.

Bol Bol is still an upside play. You hope by age 23-24 you might have something if not he might be playing overseas. I think they need more contribution now.

High IQ, high motor, can rebound and play defense. Always a positive when he's in the game. Offense is more around the basket. Would put up highlight dunks with Lonzo passing. Issues are a 6'8" PF so forwards with size can be an issue. Also his shooting is questionable. Last year struggled but seemed they were trying him as a small ball center. This year is struggling to get minutes. So did he peak with his big rookie year or mismanaged by Memphis?

So our trade assets are DJJ, TBJ, White, Ayo, and the trade exception. I'd prefer to only trade DJJ/TBJ unless it's a really good starter (e.g., Ben Simmons, Kristaps Porzingis), which I doubt we will be able to land anyway.

Marvin Bagley, Chris Boucher, Jalen Smith, Paul Millsap, Bol Bol, Zeke Nnaji. These guys are buried on the depth chart. We could potentially snag one of the Wizards' from court players since they will have a logjam once everyone is back healthy.

For immediate help I still think Harry Giles is the best option and then maybe Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.
