RJ definitely wants to be a Knick for life. His grandfather was a die hard Knick fan and told RJ when he was growing up that he would lead the Knicks to a title someday. It's a pretty amazing prophesy to be honest that he's even now playing for the Knicks lol, it's funny more people don't talk about it. I only know because I heard RJ say it on one of those random player interviews they show on the Knicks NBA League Pass broadcast. I don't even know if it aired on MSG, it might've just been a clip they showed on the jumbotron at the Garden (they often show the Jumbotron feed during commercials when you watch on League Pass which is kinda dope IMO).

Im leaning towards he can't be RJ included in the package for Lillard. The O/D combination is rare. The drive to be great is there. The ability.

The justification was always RJ can be real good but will he ever be Lillard level? Man. The O/D ability and his well rounded game....his desire to play on this team....the calculus is changing quickly in my mind.

Never thought he would be a bust but wasn't sure if his ceiling was bonafide star or just nice player. Right now it certainly is looking like it could be the former.
