No. Love Mobley and think he’s gonna be great. But I prefer a guy like Barnes cause he do basically do everything and is the true image of positionless basketball. Also love the locker room intangibles and energy he brings
I know some would do it, but I personally would not
I think we may build the team in a different way.
Mobley will need ball handlers with passing around him, so we may keep Lowry. Our whole off-season could be different.
Regardless, there is no point in swapping Barnes and Mobley.

Now consider his injury proneness and weight issues
I honestly think I don’t
Hell no. But I ain't ever been really big on Zion. Great player. Not sure he plays winning basketball.

i haven't bothered posting in the general board, but to those raptor fans who are doing, it's a lost cause...the rest of them there must envy the fact we drafted a 100% all-star in the making, maybe even a superstar if he develops as we all expect him to...

Jalen Suggs shot for 3/13.
Scottie lucky to be drafted by the raps and we’re lucky to draft him.

No idea which will be better. Mobley looks (and his numbers resemble those of) AD and Scottie's numbers resemble a 3rd year (1 year older than Scottie) Giannis with the obvious caveat that Giannis was improving from way behind a polished high school age player in Scottie. So if Scottie is a 90% Giannis and Mobley a 100% AD that's probably about the same level?
It's tough not to look at their context and think both teams would be better. Cleveland has bigs and needs wings and the Raptors need a 5:
Mobley
Siakam
OG
Trent
Van Vleet
just looks like it would be so classically solid once Mobley becomes a 20+ guy and a high post hub as a passer. Defensively you have 5 guys you'd expect to be above average guarding their positions.
Allen
Markannen
Barnes
Sexton
Garland
Suddenly Cleveland's frontcourt makes sense defensively and they still have 3 shooters surrounding Barnes and he gets a lob threat so he might even have more room to work than he does in the mid-range/in close as he does in Toronto.
