How are they going to trade Westbrook?

Post#1 » by fteru6uhre54ew » Sun Oct 31, 2021 1:35 am

It's the question. Because Pelinka should be fired only for that trade. You have a ballhog crazy horrible to watch playing this game on both ends who only cares about doing stats who take the ball out of the hands of Davis or Lebron. It's impossible win anything with this guy on the roster.

So better Pelinka have an idea of trade this guy before the tradeline. My god 2 years paying this guy more than 40 millions.

Pelinka is a figurehead. Just smiles for the camera and tells amusing stories. Bron and AD call the shots.

Westbrook is untradable.... at least to a team with aspirations of a playoff run.

He's been a stat guy forever however he's just not that smart. Top 5-10 players don't bounce around like he has the last few years. We'd have to attack picks to get rid of him and we don't have any to attack... nor do we have any decent youth any more.

We'll see about January.... my money is on Westbrook being Westbrook. He may have found a way to fit in a little but he's not going to lead us anywhere.

WB give us floor in the regular season. He can also pair with AD to relieve LBJ at timea. AD and LBJ know what to do with him. Bottom line is WB is a way better player than schrolder.

They will gel with the season progress. What I concern most now is defence and LBJ's minute. With WB, I DON'T expect LBJ to play that much each game

Could be possible with Simmons?. Man that could be a great trade at least we could have a great defender and rebounder again who knows to play the game Westbrook can't shoot neither.

He's not untradeable lol.

Just that we're going to have to wait until the summer. Westbrook is a massive expiring in the summer, every team in the league who wants to get rid of some long term salary will listen.

Even if they don't really want him, him being an expiring means that a buyout can be easily negociated.

I’m with you, OP. Didn’t want him here either. No defense.

He’s here for a year. If it doesn’t work out this season he becomes a huge expiring. ^

I still want FVV as our point guard.

You take on more salary.

Love + Rubio for Westbrook makes sense for both teams if Cavs plan on moving away from Sexton or convert him to a 6th man. Westbrook is a floor raiser for Cleveland. Lakers get a stretch 5 and a more defensively sound PG.

lol

you trade westbrook and the King / AD will ask to be traded

they don't want things to be easy, they want to win a difficult title

anybody can win as the overdog, its another level to win as the underdog. And the King has done it 3 times, I trust that he can do the job again
Stop being so disrespectful.

Lebron got wade waived when he threatened his chance to win in 2018, he won’t think twice before doing the same to Westbrook if things don’t look humming by all star break.

Westbrook is on year 14 of "taking time for it to click". He and Melo are, and always have been, mentally weaker than their physical abilities. Having them on our team was the wrong move and it will eventually play out that way.

Westbook's best possibility with us is bridging an injury to Bron. The two of them together against a "real" team isn't going to work. Injury to Bron is a high likelihood and it's just a matter of time for Davis unfortunately.

I think he’ll be traded in the off-season. If it’ll click, it’ll sure take a while. I’m in.

As currently constructed and with all players healthy going into the playoffs, we might reach the WCF. THT and Ariza are not insignificant losses defensively.

You can’t win rings with a sift PG.

Frank! Time to earn your pay! Good luck converting Russ’ brain in the film room. He has the physical tools to defend 1-4.

Either Hield or Eric Gordon will be a laker at the trade deadline. Without giving up Westbrook.

You think so, big game? Please elaborate?

I do NOT think Westbrook should or will be traded this season. He’ll stay for the playoffs, and Rich Paul will learn too late that his defense won’t be good enough to bring us rings (not worth $40M), so his massive expiring will be shipped out and will probably bring us plenty of new fire power for the season after this one.

I predict that we get booted in the WCF as is. To even get that far, Frank will have to do some mind bending on that Russell dude’s defense.

What about Toronto for Dragic & filler...

Dragic makes $20 million & their GM NEEDS a STAR as Siakam is definitely more comfortable being #2...

Toronto has Fred, OG & Trent each making over $15 million to make salaries work...
