Now just hold on a minute. So one great game and now you want to put RJ in the Hall of Fame or something?

I’d like to see him put together a string of games similar to this before we lock this baby up.

Seriously! We got hacked a couple of months ago! They can use that excuse! Show yourselves! Take the medicine! I bet 3givesheadtoMelo is on the list! With his shytty music!

I voted no actually. Never called him a bust. Looks like someone smoked a bit too much crack last night

Just cause some of us can be hella negative doesn't mean we don't want the Knicks - and it's key player - to succeed. I mean damn, some of us are just highly critical and miserable people. And it's not like we didn't have cause, rj up until this season was trash at finishing at the rim and creating off the dribble.

And don't think for a minute that those of us who were skeptical of him developing that sht aren't going to celebrate him shinning. Load up our plates cause we're eating good. Hope he continues to prove us skeptics wrong and quickly because sham and Wingo are old af.

Facts. And they want us to be mad if he proves us wrong lol when in reality we’re happy if he does cause it makes the Knicks a better team.

Bno, I’m coming home, are we there yet the same posters who wanted to get rid of Randle for garbage but now they wanna act like they’ve been geniuses and never missed on anything.

I never miss bro. Look at Frank, look at Shumpert, look at Porzingis, all superstars in this league just like a predicted 8-)

But nah, I just always preach patience with young players when people are ready to throw them away for nothing like RJ, Obi, and now people turning on IQ and while I haven't been happy with his play, I'm not ready to give up on the kid. A lot of people just have no patience and **** on the kids too early so I like to keep em honest.

Never doubted RJ. I knew this kid was going to be a special Knick and he would be the face of our renaissance, especially since Pat was our good luck charm for that draft.

Patrick Ewing #33 got us the 3rd pick (3 3 3). 3+3+3=9 (RJ Barretts #) + they're both Jamaican + they're the highest picks in franchise history + RJ's Grandfather's prediction and NY ties = Destiny.

Nobody said to throw away RJ ( besides Jimmit). It's absolutely fair for us to criticize his shortcomings and talk about what he needs to work on and what he currently is as a player and how it affects his ceiling. At the end of the day you gotta realize that we're still rooting for him. If he proves us wrong, that's fking great cause the Knicks will be a much better team now and in the future. We all want our highest pick since Ewing to be a star, even if we may not see it immediately. If RJ somehow becomes a better player than Randle then we'll be one of the nastiest teams in the league and I'm here for it. Im tired of "lol knicks" memes and jokes about us. I want us to be one of them franchises that have a winning culture and respected around the league.

This is RJ in his rookie year preseason.

He showed a lot of this swag and presence in his rookie year, just couldn't shoot and his finishing was decent.

Year 2 he seemed to focus on shooting and his finishing took a dip.

But this is who he is. He has a pedigree. He want to win and be great.

I hope he continues to be aggressive even when he struggles.

This is stating the obvious but he's not as bad as he looked during parts of the Magic game, or as good as he looked during the Pels game. But one thing seems clear and that is that his makeup and work ethic are off the charts. I'll take that. The defensive commitment, the continued work to make himself better, his unselfish style with a high IQ.

Those things seem pretty stable. Him taking over games is not something I'm counting on.

keep it open until RJ makes his first all star game. It's either this season or next.

We're keeping it open forever. This is already one of the most famous threads in RealGM history.
