Pistons are sitting Cade tonight for “ankle management”. Give me a break. This all seems fishy, the organization is very vague and Cade says he’s fine.
Something strange is going on.

I don’t know. Hopefully he’s back next game…
More than anything else, I’d like to see Killian light it up tonight.

They probably planned on sitting him this game as soon as they decided he could play against Orlando. If not he would have been coming off an injury in a back to back and 3 games in 4 nights situation. Hopefully he's good to go the next game without any minutes restriction and it's a non issue moving forward after that. If they continue to baby an ankle sprain for weeks into November it's going to be a red flag for sure.

I completely understand if there was swelling or pain afterwards....yes, sit him. But if the ankle is 100% and there's no pain, why can't he play in B2Bs? I've seen so many of the excuses on twitter but it still doesn't make sense to me. I just love how the narrative has changed so much in the last 10 years that back to backs are the complete devil and ends careers. If they're so bad for players, why do we continue to have them? Oh...because the players want their long off seasons, I almost forgot.

I'm sure after how that first game went, he's dying to get back out there and get another chance to make some baskets. Sucks but HOPEFULLY this is the last game he misses this season and this is soon all forgotten. After this we get 3 games in a row at home, and one of them is a back to back (also against Brooklyn). If we're still resting him on Nov 5th then I'll start to be concerned but honestly I was already somewhat prepared for the fact that they weren't going to play him back to back games (with travel) straight off of being injured and out a month.

Or for the rest of his contract, please.
Our guards have been so bad that I am starting to miss Langston Galloway, he's still a FA

Cade must be a china doll or something, a sore ankle and you don’t play? He shoots 1-8 or something atrocious and now they are afraid if people see more of him they will look like they made a bad pick? No way I buy this ankle crap. The Pistons have been one of the worst organizations of ALL-TIME at developing young talent. Either Cade is a wuss or the Organization knows he’s not that good and are afraid he will get exposed. Been playing ball almost 40 years, rolled my ankles endless times, didn’t have pro trainers or healing methods but rarely ever missing more than a couple weeks before being almost 80-90%. Seriously this some weak azz stuff from a weak azz organization. Totally unimpressed so far. It’s almost as unimpressive as CASEY’s coaching. Team has no flow on offense or defense.
The Pistons Organization is it’s own worst enemy. Just when they get a #1 overall pick and get some excitement back in their favor. They come out and do stuff like this, I’m a lot less inclined to tune in for game for awhile now.

I just can't stand that Casey's playing him over Lee. Even if Lee proves not to be great, that's fine. But there's no justification for Corey Joseph to be taking up minutes on this team. Especially in light of how well Lee played at the end of last season and during this preseason.

Sad part is I’ve seen more Cade in Piston’s Promotional Ads than than on the court. Especially love the stupid fake press conference where it discusses Cades Impact, as far as I can tell, sitting on the bench or not in games is a pretty NEGATIVE impact. Could’ve drafted a guy that was ready to play. Sore ankles don’t keep most average 20 year basketball players out of games, guaranteeing Zeke wouldn’t have sat out. New generation of wusses.

Cade sitting after logging 18 mins last night is dumb, just let the kid play and keep him to under ~25 mins again.

I don't understand Lee not getting any minutes either, baffling.

How does James Harden even eat without getting half of his food stuck in his beard? There's just too much bramble on the way to his mouth.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

Oh man, this stretch since we lost to the Celtics in 2008 has been brutalllll .
I'm forever the optimist but not gonna lie it's been trying times.
I have faith in our guy Weaver. He has to bring us back to the promised land
