Good game.

Both teams were really banged up, and it could've gone either way.

Fields is getting invaluable experience.

That TD scramble nearly ended me.

Fields played pretty good. He needs weapons and coaches to help him out. Seemed like Fields uncorked some inaccurate throws, maybe forced effort sometimes, can’t blame him. But he seemed less constrained, more on the move. Some better concepts for him in the meantime sans weapons

agree. his only issue today was forcing throws into tight windows, but nothing bad ended up coming from it (and even something good w/ the TD throw). last week's struggles have been wiped out in my mind. it all comes down to decision making for fields going forward. he clearly has everything else

Tabor didn’t need to look at the tape. Find the whys. He spoke pretty clearly without that nonsense.

Remember, no first round pick next year. And lot of money tied up in the near future on an aging defense. I suspect the defense will be close to a bottom 10 team by end of year. Offense is already bottom 5.

Fully on board with getting rid of all McCaskeys from the bears.

The D is old & aging and gave up almost 500 yards to a pretty mediocre O. The Oline allowed 10 TFL's, 10!! Let that sink in.
And the sobering fact is that we have the worse draft capital position in the league. Only 4 picks next year.

Should have done it last year. Watch Nagy spout off some delusional BS next week that they are still in the playoff chase.
To me clean house would be new ownership or finally getting rid of Sweatty Teddy but neither will happen.

I mean it's clear to say Nagy is not surviving next year. He could end up being scapegoat for failures and results overall on field. But just changing him doesnt change anything in grand picture. Just like Jimbo was for Bulls. You need clean entire organization from top to bottom. Salvage what you can, trade who you can for decent value and start over. Ofcourse you keep Fields, Roquan, Herbert.

Bears are in similar position like Bulls were year and half ago. Not much to offer. Some potential, but too many headscratches. Money spend not on value. Not sure Bears are willing to clean a house. But either way they can't possibly enter another year with similar roster and similar defense and it's not like offense is something to brag about. You can't sell that s*** to anyone anymore.

You could sold a "hope" this year with Fields, but that's it. You were already all from coaching staff, all to to GM on borrowing time. And players are certainly not in fault here, because they are who they are .

I agree entirely. Just like the Bulls, they need a new approach, new front office, new everything. A fresh start with some fresh minds. The Bulls showed it's not that hard to make a lot of changes in a short amount of time. I know the cap situation is different in football, etc. But that's what is needed. This regime has had it's chance, and has given us nothing but one good year, that ended because they couldn't get a good kicker. So now it's time for a different team, the fans in Chicago deserve better than this.

Bears should be a seller this trade deadline to regain draft picks.

Demian Willams, Allen Robinson, Akiem Hicks, Eddie Goldman (his value is most likely at zero) even Dalton or Foles

Build around Justin, Monty, Herbert, Mooney, Kmet, solidify the o-line, keep the defense as good as possible with Ro, Mack, Jaylon

The game slowed down for Justin today and he was able to have his most impactful game thus far. The rest of the season is going to be fun.

The Bears should be on the phone with the Saints right now trying to send Dalton down there. We do not need 2 vet backups for Justin, the Saints are either winning the NFC South or the 1st wildcard team and we'd be lucky to get that second wildcard slot, get a 4th or 5th rounder from them to save their season because Jameis just went down for the season most likely.

Call Baltimore and see what they'll give us for Williams. Cards what they'll give up for Hicks (JJ Watt just went down for the year), get as much as you can for ARob.

Stop playing Byrd, see what we have in Rodney Adams/Dazz Newsome.

Mitchell looked so good and Jimmy carved us up real good. Deebo is filthy, get Kittle back next week and that offense is gunna be fun.

Your Run D took that game over and it felt like they knew what was coming their way.

Y'all have a tough schedule coming your way but considering how badly Herbert tore up TB last week, that was an impressive performance from y'all in stopping him.

I want to see moves to dump guys we don't plan on resigning.
Get something if/while you can for ARob, etc.

Today showed that basically doing less worked for Fields. And I have been swearing Fields has been kept on a leash by Nagy and today he was worlds different getting 100 and having way more moves than I thought--I mean I had no idea he was this good of a runner--that TD was great escape x2 then reading blocks perfectly downfield.

He needs work but he flashed talent today. That last INT didn't matter but if Mooney didn't stop a step short he probably catches it and/or get a 49ers PI call worst case. I think it was into the sun--but a good WR makes the play.

Watching the end of Charger game--their WR made a late (pointless) TD catch that was a total jump ball.
When we had Alshon and Marshall we made those -- now we rarely do.

Sure they should be making all the trade moves for the future. Unfortunately, that stuff is not going to happen. George McCaskey has set this franchise up for ptesent and future failure the moment he didn’t fire Pace and Nagy after last season. These 2 Bozos are all in on 2021. Generally in the NFL, those kinds of trades don’t happen anyway.

The best thing that could happen is if the family moved to remove George ASAP for the miserable job he has done over the years taking over for Michael. Amazing that he has made Michael look somewhat decent in comparison.
