Instead of continuing that history, we named our expansion team after a movie. And then we took the only good things about that concept (the logo and jerseys) and got rid of them.

We are now a team named after a movie with a chevron for a logo, using and the most generic colour scheme in the league.

I really can't wait until Pascal and Yuta come back, so we can get a real idea of how good this team is.

Yeah that's my biggest concern with this too. They are big and fast, except their backcourt, maybe we can exploit them there. Barnes straight up bullied Sabonis who's 6'11/240 and has been destroying people so far this season.

IND literally benched Sabonis because that matchup was not working for them.

David Thorpe talked about in a recent video that Barnes is incredibly strong which is a testament to how hared he's worked since college ended.

Not only that, but Barnes has literally never had to play more than 25 mins in his entire basketball career. He's averaging 35 now.

Furthermore, he's taking more shots than ever in hiss career all while being tasked with guarding the best or 2nd best player on the opposing team. He's clearly a mutant and we're gonna need to make sure we don't overwork him.

He''s already show he can lock down guys like Tatum, guys like Suggs can't even get a shot off if Barnes is guarding them and to boot, he's able to overpower and outmaneuver beasts like Sabonis. He's been a defensive super weapon so far. Gonnaa watch carefully to see how he adjusts when placed ono guys like Randle and RJ.

We're currently leading the league in deflections and loose ball recoveries too so the boys are busting their ass.

Imagine if we had the GSW logo? It is up there with NY Islanders in terms of grade school marketing.

I like the matchup. They have 3 guys who can go off in Kemba, RJ, and Randle. If we can keep them in check then it should be a close game. But I'm not panicking if we lose. It's early...

I don’t like the match up. Thibs defence is just as good as ours, if not better with a way stronger front court. Tall guards like RJ bother the crap out of FVV. OG and Trent are going to have to score like a mfer.

Their defense is ranked 19th. It’s their offense that’s been carrying them early in the season.

I have a bad memory of a game last year. OG was being praised here for his defense, and Randle went off against him in the first half. And Mitchell Robinson was out hurt back then, I believe. He's the kind of C who will give us trouble. Not sure if we have any favorable matchups.
